Submit work hours for a new timesheet period and generate a report.
The timesheet view shows all active tasks for the time period. Open a new time period to update.
In the Timesheet list, select Aug-28-2011 - Sep-03-2011.
Select a setting, Automatically add current tasks to timesheet.
Click Add.
A new timesheet opens.
Filter the tasks by project. In the Search bar, type <City Center>.
All active tasks for the project, City Center Office Building Addition, are displayed.
Select an activity, EC1330 - Install Underground Electric Conduit. In the Wed 8/31 field, type <4>.
Select another activity, EC1230 - Excavation. In the Wed 8/31 field, type <4>.
The work hours for Wednesday are added. Add Sick Leave hours for Thursday.
On the Actions menu, click Add Overhead Time.
In the Add Overhead Time to Timesheet dialog box, select the Sick Leave check box.
Click Add.
A row for Sick Leave is added. In the Thu 9/1 field, type <8>.
Click Submit.
Click Yes.
The timesheet is submitted. Add a timesheet note for your supervisor.
Click View Timesheet Notes.
Type a note regarding the submitted hours for Sick Leave.
Click Add.
The note is added for the supervisor to view.
Click the X to close the Timesheet Notes dialog box.
On the Actions menu, click Generate report.
Continue to enter hours for time worked. The Total column reflects the cumulative time entered for each task.
A timesheet report is displayed. It can be viewed electronically or printed.
