Timescaled Logic Diagram Improvements - Diagram Options

Using options added to the Timescaled Logic Diagram Options dialog box, users can:

  • Show or hide timescale sight lines. Line appearance and interval frequency can be customized.
  • Group activities in timescale logic diagrams by user-defined fields (UDFs).
  • Filter activities in timescale logic diagrams. This is a filter applies in addition to the filter applied when drawing the timescaled logic diagram. Filters can be saved with templates.
  • Set custom colors for activity codes in timescaled logic diagrams. These are not saved with the template, but default colors can be set from P6 Professional before drawing a timescaled logic diagram.

The default print orientation for timescaled logic diagrams is now landscape, and four horizontal pages print by default.

Additionally, a color column is available in the Activity Codes dialog box; coloring is used in all timescaled logic diagram environments and in P6 EPPM environments. Users with the appropriate privilege can select and modify colors for all types of activity codes. During .xer import / export, all activity code values assigned to activities retain their color selection, with the exception of EPS values.
