Navigating in Primavera Prime

Home tab, Sidebar Navigation and content tabs are the primary means of navigation in Primavera Prime. Use Sidebar Navigation to select menus and pages that enable you to create projects and capital plans. Use content tabs to work with those items for budgeting, analysis, selection and monitoring.

Home Tab: Contains menus and pages that enable you to establish initial project and capital plan data, complete workflow tasks, and configure your overall application experience. The Home tab can be accessed from anywhere within the application and cannot be closed. 

Sidebar Navigation: Contains menus and pages based on the currently selected tab. Adjust width by clicking and dragging the right edge.

Collapse icon: Click to collapse Sidebar Navigation and conserve screen space for page content. Hover over the sidebar when it is collapsed to temporarily expand it. Click Lock Sidebar to lock the sidebar in place.

Content Tabs: Create a content tab to work with projects, project portfolios, capital plans, or capital portfolios you have created. Multiple content tabs can be displayed.

Global Search: Search projects, capital plans, capital portfolios, project portfolios, and project codes for the specified term.  Select the result of a global search to open a new content tab. If the item is already open in a content tab it will become the active tab.

Context Bar: Select  a project, project portfolio, EPS, capital plan, or capital portfolio on the context bar to change the content of a content tab.
