Creating Work Breakdown Structure

The Work Breakdown Structure is a hierarchical structure that defines how project work is done. The WBS ties the installation and cost of scope items to the project schedule. Labor, costs, and dates of scope items are managed in work packages assigned to the WBS.

The WBS can also be integrated with P6 via Primavera Gateway. This allows activities to be assigned to work packages and activity dates to be displayed in Prime.

With a project open, click the Project menu and select WBS to begin creating the structure. An unlimited amount of nodes can be created.
