Before you create a Unifier project, examine the project setup in P6.

In P6, PROJ_09 is a Duration Based project. It uses Complete as a synchronization method to send the entire WBS hierarchy to Unifier via integration. This will enable the association of P6 activities with CBS codes and send summarized data to Unifier via integration.

Review the design requirements of a P6-Unifier integration enabled shell. Navigate to the  Projects shell and then click Detail Form in the Navigator.

Double-click to open Project Details to examine the shell attribute fields.

Click Close Window.

Data element uuu_int_schedule_type (Schedule Type) must also exist on the Integration detail form.

Click Close.

Next you will create a new project based on the P6 integration-enabled shell.

In the Navigator, click Company Sponsored Shells, Projects.

Click New.

Click the Currency tab.

Complete the Currencies and Default Currency fields. Currency used in P6 and Unifier project must be the same.

Click OK.

Next, navigate to the new project PROJ_D9, and switch to Admin Mode.

Data element uuu_int_schedule_type (Schedule Type) must exist on the detail form.

Click Details to view shell properties.

WBS hierarchy and activities are added to the P6 project.

Next, you will create a project in Unifier to link to PROJ_09 in P6.

In the General tab, complete required fields. Project Number field must match the P6 Project ID. Schedule Type field is read-only. It will be populated via integration.

After integration, Project Name is concatenated with Project Number. Schedule Type field displays Duration Loaded.
