The best candidates feature delivers contextual recommendations to recruiters and hiring managers for their job requisitions. The engine is fed by a rich stream of data and powered by a combination of different artificial intelligence techniques such as machine-learning, neural nets, and natural language processing. Data sources that provide constantly refreshed context to deliver relevant recommendations include:
- Data from your recruitment application
- Data from Oracle HCM Cloud
Steps to Enable
To enable this feature in your recruitment application, you must perform the following steps.
- Sign in to Oracle Adaptive Intelligent Apps for HCM with the Operations Administrator credentials.
- Click Connections on the home page.
- Copy Authentication URL, Application ID, Application Secret, and Scope to the corresponding fields on the connections page in your recruitment application. If your recruitment application doesn't include these fields, expand Services and copy Endpoint URL for the type of service you want, and enter that value on the connections page in your recruitment application. The following screen capture shows the Connections page with these values.

- Save the connection settings in your recruitment application.
You are now connected to your recruitment application, and can view candidate recommendations for all job requisitions.

Use Oracle Identity Cloud Service to assign users to the roles listed in the following table. These roles control which pages and features users can access.

| Oracle Adaptive Intelligent HCM Operations Administrator | Coordinates and supervises all activities related to the operation of Oracle Adaptive Intelligent Apps for HCM, such as managing connections. |
| Oracle Adaptive Intelligent HCM User | Obtains recommendations for the consuming application through REST API services, such as Job-to-Applicant Recommender, Job-to-Candidate Recommender, and so on. This is an additional security role assigned with the primary role in a recruitment application. |

Tips And Considerations
Your account administrator manages access to Oracle Identity Cloud Service to assign users to these roles.
Key Resources
All consumer data is anonymized and secured in Oracle Cloud. No tracking technologies, such as cookies and device fingerprinting, are used.
Your system logs are stored in your regulatory region. They are accessible for service optimization only.
Consent forms and opt-out options are managed in your recruitment application.
