REST APIs to List Backups and Restore a Backup
In OCI (Gen 2) environments, you can now use the List Backup API to list available backup snapshots archived by Oracle in Oracle Object Storage. If a backup snapshot is available, you can copy it to the current environment using the Restore Backup API. After copying the backup, you can archive it or use it to restore the current environment by yourself. This provides a self-service method to restore or archive a backup snapshot in OCI environments. You no longer have to create a service request to copy an available backup to an OCI environment. Applies to: Account Reconciliation, Enterprise Data Management, Financial Consolidation and Close, FreeForm, Narrative Reporting, Planning, Planning Modules, Profitability and Cost Management, Tax Reporting
