Migration from EPM Cloud Classic to OCI (Gen 2) for Commercial Data Centers Has Started
Oracle has a longstanding reputation for providing innovative technologies that empower organizations to meet their most demanding business needs. One of Oracle's latest advancements is Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). As the foundation of Oracle's second generation cloud, OCI is purpose-built, best-in-class platform for running enterprise applications. OCI is engineered from the ground up to run mission-critical databases, workloads, and applications while providing end-to-end security. Oracle's data centers around the globe are standardizing on the new OCI architecture which will deliver even greater performance and reliability. There are a lot of EPM Cloud features that are available only in OCI. See Features Available only in OCI EPM Cloud Environments in Getting Started with Oracle Enterprise Performance Management Cloud for Administrators.

New orders of EPM Standard Cloud Service or EPM Enterprise Cloud Service from commercial customers with existing EPM Standard Cloud Service or EPM Enterprise Cloud Service SKU subscriptions are already provisioned in OCI data centers. In general, the location of the data center type where your new environments are provisioned depends on the location of the data center of your current environments.

New Version of Migration REST APIs
A new, simplified version of several Migration REST APIs has been released. This new version contains all parameters in the payload and does not require URL encoding while calling the REST APIs. The new version is backward compatible, so no changes are needed for existing REST APIs. Previously, the new version applied to these REST APIs: Copy to Object Store (v2), Copy from Object Store(v2), Send Email (v2), Delete File (v2), Run Recreate on a Service (v2), Restart the Service (v2). Now, the new v2 version applies to these REST APIs: List Files (v2), Copy a File Between Instances (v2), Copy Application Snapshot (v2), Running Daily Maintenance While Skipping the Scheduled Daily Maintenance (v2), Get the Build Version and Daily Maintenance Window Time (v2), Set the Daily Maintenance Window Time (v2), Manage Permission for Manual Access to Database (v2), Skip Updates (v2), and Set Encryption Key (v2). Now, the new version applies to these additional REST APIs: LCM Import (v2), LCM Export (v2), Rename Application Snapshot (v2), Provide Feedback (v2), User Access Report (v2), User Audit Report (v2), Export Essbase Data (v2), Delete Files (v3).

Web Application Firewall (WAF) In OCI (Gen 2) Environments

Activity Report Enhanced with Version Status and Outline Warnings
Starting with this update, the Activity Report displays version status next to the EPM Cloud environment version. The version status is displayed only if the environment is not on the latest monthly update or weekly patch and indicates the reason for it. Additionally, with this update you can see an Outline Warnings table that indicates issues that would result in bad performance of forms and reports. Clicking on the warning takes you to EPM Cloud Operations Guide section, which helps you in fixing this issue.
Applies to: Account Reconciliation, Enterprise Data Management, Enterprise Profitability and Cost Management, Financial Consolidation and Close, FreeForm, Narrative Reporting, Planning, Planning Modules, Profitability and Cost Management, Tax Reporting
