Administration

User Login Records

Eloqua user records now include a last login time. You can export the last login time on the user export. Previously, this was only available in the Agent Online History report.

Advanced Intelligence

Oracle Eloqua’s Advanced Intelligence features use algorithms, data science and machine learning to help marketers achieve superior business results.

The following features are only available as part of Eloqua’s Advanced Intelligence Add-on:

  • Send Time Optimization
  • Subject Line Optimization
  • Account Intelligence
  • Fatigue Analysis

For more information, please contact your account manager.

IMPORTANT: The following features are available as part of the Advanced Intelligence Package add-on that must be ordered for your account. Please contact your account representative or Oracle sales.

Analytics

Account Engagement Score is now available in the Account attributes folder.

Dashboards

A new Fatigue Analysis dashboard is now available. It helps you see your total contacts' fatigue levels and performance by fatigue level at a glance.

Fatigue Analysis

The Fatigue Level contact field can now be used in a listener step in the Program Canvas. This can kickoff specific workflows based on a change in a contact's fatigue level.

Send Time Optimization (STO)

The following changes have been made to Send Time Optimization (STO):

  • The Delay Period option has been removed. Campaign arbitration now automatically detects if there is an email scheduled for the contact from another campaign, and it will schedule the STO email for the next optimal time.
  • The Most Engaged Time tab in Contacts now shows the most engaged time in the user's time zone.

Analytics

Insight

Column names, column tool tips, and subject area names have been translated to Eloqua languages.

Apps

Detailed Status Messages for Stuck Records

The Eloqua configuration error –  Manage Data Export Permission has been updated to allow the app to set this status. Previously this could only be set by Eloqua if records were set to be returned in the Notify call.

We have also improved the App Developer Notification call adding a retry strategy to cover a wider variety of failures that can occur with sending notification calls.

Salesforce.com Integration App

The following changes have been made to the Salesforce Integration app:

  • You can now select the Upsert type of Action when mapping an Eloqua contact to a Salesforce Campaign Member.
  • You are now able to map a concatenated value (Advanced Mode) to SFDC Reference data type fields, double type or currency.
  • All instances of Salesforce.com in the Eloqua user interface are now written as Salesforce.
  • You can now see all reported import and action errors for the current date grouped by their type.
  • You are now able to specify filters that will be applied to marketing activities before the app sends them to Salesforce.
  • For campaign responses, if a contact is missing the responseID, an error message now lets the you know that the ID is missing.
  • When you create a new Campaign Response Action, the following mappings are set by the Salesforce Integration app: Status, Campaign ID, SFDC Contact ID and SFDC Lead ID.
  • You can now map a CDO field to an ID on Action Update.
  • When updating an Action, a new optional Update Eloqua Fields section allows you to sync the value of the Unique ID back to an Eloqua field of their choice.
  • For Account, Contact, and Lead objects originating in Salesforce, the Salesforce Integration app now splits the Street value on a new line if the value exceeds 100 characters.

Editors

Archiving Enhancements

Archiving is now supported for folders within the Emails page and Forms page.

IMPORTANT: This feature is part of our Controlled Availability program. To request access to this feature, please log in to My Oracle Support and create a service request.

Fix Images Option

A new Fix Images option is now available in the Source Editors and the Component Library editors. This option was created in response to Google Chrome's recent update (version 85) that blocks embedded mixed content in secure web pages and web applications served with the https protocol. When an image is http, Chrome will attempt to load it in https only. If that fails, the image will be blocked. The user will see a broken icon in place of the image. The Fix Images option changes image URLs from http to https. Images that are not recognized as being hosted by Eloqua will not be affected.

Forms

Control Form Submissions

The option to control form submissions is now generally available. This was previously part of our Controlled Availability program and referred to as Control Form Visibility.

Use this option to control whether a form can accept submissions:

  • If option is enabled, the form is visible to everyone and can capture submission data (this is the default option)
  • If the option is disabled, the form remains visible but will not accept submissions (via landing pages or endpoints (API))

General Enhancements

New Look and Feel

The Eloqua user interface is getting an exciting new look and feel. In this update, the new styling has been applied to the dashboard launchpad page and eight Eloqua dashboards, including popular ones like Campaign Performance and Campaign Analysis.

Supported Browsers

Chrome 87 and Firefox 84 are the A (Best Choice) browsers for Oracle Eloqua.

Updated Design for Eloqua Sandbox Toolbar

We added more clear distinction in the toolbar if you are in a normal Eloqua production instance or sandbox instance.

Integrations

New URL Parameter for SAML Auto-Logins

A new URL parameter CheckFrame is available for SAML auto-logins. You can append Checkframe=false to the URL when embedding Sales Tools in a CRM.

For example:

https://login.eloqua.com/auth/saml2/autologin?LoginPrefix={prefix}&ReturnUrl={pagePath}

would become

https://login.eloqua.com/auth/saml2/autologin?Checkframe=false&LoginPrefix={prefix}&ReturnUrl={pagePath}

This parameter is optional and can be applied to both Engage and Profiler. It removes the Authenticate Now button and pop-up window that appear during login.

Sales Tools CRM Embed Changes

For customers who embed Eloqua Sales Tools in an iframe in your CRM, the following changes have been made to how you embed.

A domain allowlist has been introduced. This allowlist must include the domains of the pages that host the Sales Tools iframe. For example, if you have Profiler embedded on the Lead or Contact record in Salesforce, you must allow several domains listed below (shown with wildcards):

*.lightning.force.com

*.my.salesforce.com

*.visualforce.com

A new URL must now be used to embed Sales Tools pages in an iframe. For example, the current URL

https://login.eloqua.com/apps/salesTools/profiler?emailAddress={!lead.email}

must be changed to

https://login.eloqua.com/apps/embed/salesTools/profiler?emailAddress={!lead.email}

Both of these changes must be made for both Engage and Profiler embedded pages.

Developer Updates

Application API

A validation has been added for Application API 1.0 Contact Field endpoints to disallow changing Contact Field type to multi-select picklist.

Bulk API

The following enhancements are now available for the Bulk API Campaign Response Export:

  • The Bulk API Campaign Response export will now look at AddedAt instead of CreatedAt when enforcing the 30 day limit.
  • The new field AddedAt is now available on Bulk API Campaign Response export.
