Redwood Styles in Statistics Configuration

Starting with Update 23A, the Statistics configuration page has an updated look and feel, which corresponds to the latest Redwood guidelines.

Capacity

Quota Recalculation Performance Improvements

Starting with Update 23A, the quota recalculation process has been improved. You may see better performance of the application, especially when you assign resources temporarily.

Core Application

Ad hoc Filters in Dispatch Console

Starting with Update 23A, you can create ad hoc filters in the Dispatch Console to view the data you want. The View menu has a new option, Ad-hoc Filter for this.

Finish Started Activities After Overnight End Time

Starting with Update 23A, you can perform these actions for activities that are in the Started status, after the overnight time ends:

  • End activity
  • Not done activity
  • Add required inventory

Improved Nearby Activities Workflow

Starting with Update 23A, the Nearby Activities page is merged with the Route Map page. You can access the Nearby Activities option on the Route Map page by selecting the Nearby Activities check box.

Redwood Style for Filters, Capacity Categories, and Link Templates Configuration Pages

Starting with Update 23A, these configuration pages have an updated look and feel, which corresponds to the latest Redwood guidelines:

  • Filters
  • Capacity Categories 
  • Link Templates 

Unification of Resource Location Page

Starting with Update 23A, the Update Location and Resource Location pages are unified and look the same.

Integration

Book Appointment and Assign Activity Using Siebel CRM and Oracle Field Service

Starting with Update 23A, the Oracle Integration accelerator ‘Siebel CRM - Oracle Field Service | Appointment Booking & Activity Assignment’ is available. The accelerator supports these functions:

  • Ability for a service agent to book a Field Service appointment using Siebel CRM and assign the activity to a field resource after confirmation by a customer.
  • Synchronizing employee (Field Engineers) data from Siebel CRM to Oracle Field Service.

Resource Work Availability, Absence Management and Update Party ID Against a Resource Using OFS-HCM Accelerator

Starting with Update 23A, the Oracle Field Service-Oracle HCM Cloud integration recipe has been enhanced. The new recipe:

  • Incorporates partyid to transfer employee from Oracle HCM Cloud to Oracle Field Service resource.
  • Uses the Worker Availability API to synchronize the employee work availability, holidays, absence, and exceptions from Oracle HCM Cloud to Oracle Field Service resource.

Run Daily Extract from "Applications" Page

Starting with Update 23A, you can run the Daily Extract for past dates by yourself from the Applications page.

Redwood Design for Debriefing Plug-In

Starting with Update 23A, the Debriefing plug-in pages have an updated look and feel, which corresponds to the latest Redwood guidelines.

Standard Plug-Ins and Improved User Experience of Plug-Ins

Starting with Update 23A, you can see the list of standard plug-ins that are included in out-of-the-box Oracle Field Service. You can select and install the plug-ins and download the code as well.

Reporting

Display Important Filter Criteria on Dashboards

Starting with Update 23A, all graphical reports display the criteria that you have used to filter the results, below the report name.

Routing

Export and Import Routing Plan Configuration

Starting with Update 23A, you can export a Routing Plan configuration as a JSON file and import a previously-exported Routing Plan.

Prioritize Earlier Start of Most Important Activities in Bulk Routing

Starting with Update 23A, the Routing configuration page includes a new Optimization Goal called Prioritize earlier start of most important activities. This setting helps the application order the activities according to their cost of non-assignment in Bulk Routing plans.
