Add Asset Associations and Asset Locations for a Project
If you have managed assets in Oracle IoT Asset Monitoring Cloud Service that your project workers work with, you can choose to add these assets to your project in Oracle IoT Connected Worker Cloud Service. Fetching asset sensor parameters and locations from Oracle IoT Asset Monitoring Cloud Service lets you maintain a safe and efficient work environment for your workers.
When you add an asset type association for your project, all assets of the asset type in Oracle IoT Asset Monitoring Cloud Service are synced with Oracle IoT Connected Worker Cloud Service.
Use Wi-Fi Based Positioning for Non-GPS Locations
Your project can use Wi-Fi based positioning for indoor scenarios where GPS signal is lacking. Your wireless devices and Access Points (APs) must support the Wi-Fi RTT (Round Trip Time) feature.
Wi-Fi RTT (Round-Trip-Time) lets your Wi-Fi devices measure the distances to nearby RTT-capable Wi-Fi access points and peer devices. Several Android 9 and Android 10 mobile devices support Wi-Fi RTT. Wi-Fi based positioning results usually have accuracy precisions between one and two meters.
Data Storage and Management Enhancements
You can choose to delete a previously created data deletion job. If the job is still running when you delete it, then the job is terminated and deleted. If the job has already failed or completed, then deleting the job removes it from the list of failed or completed jobs.
