This guide outlines the information you need to know about new or improved functionality in this update.

Feature Summary

Column Definitions:

Report = New or modified, Oracle-delivered, ready to run reports.

UI or Process-Based: Small Scale = These UI or process-based features are typically comprised of minor field, validation, or program changes. Therefore, the potential impact to users is minimal.

UI or Process-Based: Larger Scale* = These UI or process-based features have more complex designs. Therefore, the potential impact to users is higher.

Features Delivered Disabled = Action is needed BEFORE these features can be used by END USERS. These features are delivered disabled and you choose if and when to enable them. For example, a) new or expanded BI subject areas need to first be incorporated into reports, b) Integration is required to utilize new web services, or c) features must be assigned to user roles before they can be accessed.

Ready for Use by End Users
(Feature Delivered Enabled)

Reports plus Small Scale UI or Process-Based new features will have minimal user impact after an update. Therefore, customer acceptance testing should focus on the Larger Scale UI or Process-Based* new features.

Customer Must Take Action before Use by End Users

Not disruptive as action is required to make these features ready to use. As you selectively choose to leverage, you set your test and roll out timing.

Campaign Alerts

Quickly monitor your campaigns. You will now see a dashboard alert when a campaign has not received any visitors in the last 24 hours.

Users can makes changes in optimal time with up-to-date campaign viewership information through the campaign alerts from the dashboard.

You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.

Campaign Performance Report Enhancement

We have made enhancements to variant name displays for both A/B and multivariate tests:

  • For A/B/n tests we now display the variant name throughout the report (winner message, top ranked experiences, funnel, action breakdown and data tables).
  • For multivariate tests the report will continue to display the experience name - E1/E2/etc.

This change will help Oracle Maxymiser users better identify variants used in their reports throughout.

Reporting Enhancements to Action Breakdown Widget

You can now compare more data side by side using the Include all experiences option when exporting data from the action breakdown view. You can access this view from the Campaign Performance Report.

There are some instances where you may want to compare data of challenger experiences, instead of the control experience. This is often the case when your control experience simply does not have action attributes. You can now make this comparison by selecting alternate experiences from the Compare Experiences option in the action breakdown widget.

This increased data comparison will allow you to drill down on where optimization would most benefit.

Select the French instance from the login page, or from the profile icon in the top right hand corner once you are logged in.

To better serve Oracle Maxymiser's French clients, French is now easily accessible from both the login page and the profile icon.
