Feature Summary

Column Definitions:

Report = New or modified, Oracle-delivered, ready to run reports.

UI or Process-Based: Small Scale = These UI or process-based features are typically comprised of minor field, validation, or program changes. Therefore, the potential impact to users is minimal.

UI or Process-Based: Larger Scale* = These UI or process-based features have more complex designs. Therefore, the potential impact to users is higher.

Features Delivered Disabled = Action is needed BEFORE these features can be used by END USERS. These features are delivered disabled and you choose if and when to enable them. For example, a) new or expanded BI subject areas need to first be incorporated into reports, b) Integration is required to utilize new web services, or c) features must be assigned to user roles before they can be accessed.

Ready for Use by End Users
(Feature Delivered Enabled)

Reports plus Small Scale UI or Process-Based new features will have minimal user impact after an update. Therefore, customer acceptance testing should focus on the Larger Scale UI or Process-Based* new features.

Customer Must Take Action before Use by End Users
(Feature Delivered Disabled)

Not disruptive as action is required to make these features ready to use. As you selectively choose to leverage, you set your test and roll out timing.

APIs

Data Import Enhancements

Improved error messaging for our Customer Data Import API, to help users specifically understand the cause of any issues that may occur during data import.

Speed-up Customer Data Import setup by exposing clear user-facing errors and allowing flexible data deletion from CRM.

Steps to Enable

You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.

Data and Privacy

Cross Data Center Visitor Resolution

Serve consistent experiences to visitors switching between data centers either from using VPN, crossing into another country, or through any other network routing adjustments.

This will ensure visitor regeneration does not happen, thereby retaining a consistent experience no matter what data center the visitor is using.

Steps to Enable

You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.

Integrations

Oracle Adtech Service Integration

We have improved integration between Oracle Adtech Service (formerly Bluekai DMP) and Maxymiser.

The new user-friendly integration setup with Oracle Adtech Service includes the following:

  • Easy one time setup of Integration replacing a per-campaign setup
  • Visual Rule builder for setting custom attributes based on audiences

Steps to Enable

You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.

Key Resources

Native App Testing

iOS SDK Update

You can now distribute iOS SDK as Dynamic Framework.

This Dynamic Framework provides significant advantages over a static library such as being easier to plug in (simply drag & drop), and not having any issues when linking to multi-module apps.

Steps to Enable

Download the latest Oracle Maxymiser for Mobile Apps Cloud Service.

User Experience

New Look and Feel

We have updated and applied Redwood themed designs to the following components:

  • QA Tool
  • Campaign Performance Report
  • Activity Report
  • Audience Insights
  • Campaign Insights
  • Data Export
  • Test Duration Calculator

Within the QA Tool we have also added:

  • New informative badges (campaign type, sandbox/production, etc.)
  • The ability to Search attribute values
  • A Cancel button to disregard changes

We are doing this to align with Redwood, Oracle’s approach to the next generation product and communication design, user experience platform, and brand design system.

We will continue along this journey in future releases to re-imagine and update areas of Maxymiser to improve usability, user experience, and accessibility, creating a consistent and improved user experience across Oracle CX.

Steps to Enable

You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.
