Oracle Profitability and Cost Management Cloud, October Update
This guide includes announcements and considerations. Going forward, this document will provide information on new functionality and fixed defects. Oracle plans to apply your monthly service updates to your test environment on the first Friday of every month and to your production environment on the third Friday of every month.
Announcements and New Features
Oracle Profitability and Cost Management Cloud Service provides a platform for performance reporting using financial data combined with operational data. Profitability and Cost Management Cloud performs complex multi step allocations, calculations, and profitability analysis by customer, channel, and line of business, legal entity, product, service, and operational costing.
Additionally the service provides a rich business user focused data modeling capability with integration to financial and operational systems, such as Oracle E-Business Suite Database, PeopleSoft, Oracle Fusion, JD Edwards, 3rd party General Ledgers, Oracle Cloud Planning and Budgeting Cloud and Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud. Embedded reporting and analytics such as profit curves, allocation tracing, dashboards, Oracle Financial Reporting, and MS Office Integration with Oracle Hyperion Smart View are included.
Considerations
To export results from queries that return less than 1 million cells, use the Export Query Results feature.

If you want to delete an application, delete it using the Service Administrator user that created the application.
