Oracle Absence Management is a configurable and flexible global solution that enables organizations to manage absences of their workforce. The framework provides ability to define both complex and diverse absence plans. It integrates with the Oracle Cloud Global Payroll and Time and Labor products and provides dedicated work areas for the roles of Administrator and Employees. Simplified user interface is provided for employees’ absence data entry.
Improved Absence Processing for Re-evaluating Absences
Gain more control over defining employee groups for whom absences need to be re-evaluated. When an employee’s work schedule or assignment changes, the existing absences are re-evaluated to ensure that the changes are considered during the absence processing. The application performs the re-evaluation for multiple employees using the Evaluate Absences process. We have added new parameters and improved the existing ones that let you choose which employee’s absences you want to re-evaluate. You can now configure the Evaluate Absences process to re-process absences for only those employees whose HR data has changes.
Plan Balances on Approval Notifications
Display plan balance information as part of the approval notification to speed up approvals for absences. This will make it easier for managers and administrators to decide whether to approve the absence or not, without opening other pages.
Retrieve Data to Reconcile Absences and Payroll Info
Extract key absence and payroll information to reconcile the absence records with the payments made against absence. The Absence and Payroll Info for Reconciliation extract process presents the output as a CSV file. This file contains a summary of people's absence records reported in Absence Management and all the hours that they transferred to Payroll.
