Absence Management

Absence Management

Oracle Absence Management is a configurable and flexible global solution that enables organizations to manage absences of their workforce. The framework provides ability to define both complex and diverse absence plans. It integrates with the Oracle Cloud Global Payroll and Time and Labor products and provides dedicated work areas for the roles of Administrator and Employees. Simplified user interface is provided for employees’ absence data entry.

Process Absences Automatically When Employee’s Work Schedule Changes

Configure absence types to automatically re-evaluate absences when an employee’s work schedule changes. You no longer need to schedule multiple absence processes to manage such re-processing across absence types and workforces.

Retrieve Data to Reconcile Absences and Payroll Info

Take advantage of the improved Absences and Payroll Info for Reconciliation extract process. This process extracts key Oracle absence and payroll information to reconcile absence records with payments made against absence. You can now use the process to deliver the information in a formatted output that can be directly opened in MS Excel.

Option for No Carryover Added to the Carryover Limit Rule

Get more control over carryover processing using the new No Carryover option in the Carryover Limit Rule. Use this option to stop the application from carrying over any unused time-off, either positive or negative, to the next plan term.

Carryover Option of None Renamed to No Limit

For improved clarity, the None field that lets you carry over accrued time with no limit defined to the next plan term, has been reworded to No Limit. The functionality remains the same. When No Limit is selected, any remaining accrual balance will be carried over into the next plan term.
