Prevent Submission Without Changes 
Prevent people from submitting a Personal Contribution, an Individual Compensation, or an Administer Compensation action without first making changes, or warn them that they haven’t made changes, so they can make the changes, or continue the submission with the current selections.
Carry Forward an Optional Standard Component 
Indicate whether to carry forward the optional standard component to the next salary proposal or limit it to only the current salary proposal. For example, you set a car allowance as an optional component to carry forward. After a manager explicitly includes it in a salary proposal, all future salary proposals for that person continue to include the car allowance component until it’s explicitly removed. The previous behavior of optional components is not to carry them forward to the next salary proposal. You can now change them to carry forward too.
Get a warning when you propose a salary change, or employment change that includes a salary change, and your proposed salary change would correct an existing salary instead of adding new salary.
Honor Salary Data Security While Copying From Source Assignment 
Configure how to handle salary during a global transfer within the same legislative data group, when the person managing the transfer doesn’t have data security access to the source assignment salary:
- Copy the salary from the source assignment and let people change it.
- Don't copy the salary, but let people enter it.
- Don't copy the salary and don't let people enter it.
Honor Individual Compensation Data Security While Copying from Source Assignment 
Configure how to handle plan allocations during a global transfer, when the person managing the transfer doesn’t have data security access to the source assignment individual compensation plans:
- Copy the plan allocations from the source assignment and let people change them.
- Don't copy the plan allocations, but let people enter them.
- Don't copy the plan allocations and don't let people enter them.
Enable Save and Save and Close Buttons in Salary Actions using HCM Transaction Design Studio
Enable both the Save and Save and Close buttons in salary actions using HCM Transaction Design Studio settings.

Enable both the Save and Save and Close buttons in individual compensation actions using HCM Transaction Design Studio settings.
Change in Transaction Design Studio Show or Hide Regions Behavior for Change Salary 
Configure the behavior of the Change Salary action, Show or Hide regions in Transaction Design Studio for only line managers. Previously the configuration was effecting compensation managers who were changing salary.
Use the new Exit Plan button available throughout the Workforce Compensation plan setup pages to navigate back to the Workforce Compensation list of plans page instead of using the individual page navigation buttons.
Change In Navigation From Worksheet To Landing Page 
Use the back arrow to navigate from worksheet pages to the landing page. We removed the Cancel button from the Worksheet Pages
Change In Location Of Number Of Available Plans Link
Note that we moved the Number of Available Plans navigation link from the right side of the landing page to the left under the manager information. This change lets you discover the navigation link more easily and is more in line with other navigation options on the page.
Change In Budget Pool Configuration Behavior After You Run the Start Workforce Compensation Process
Notice that you now can't change the configuration of budget pools after you've run the Start Workforce Compensation Cycle process for a plan cycle.
Disabled Alerts No Longer Appear In Alerts Analytic In Approval Task 
Disable the following alerts in plan setup, so they no longer appear in the Alerts analytic in the Approvals task:
- Delegation Removal Pending
- Delegation Pending
- Reassignment Pending
- Eligibility Change Pending
Configure Budget Overview Properties
Use new configuration options to change the display of budget pools in the Manage Budgets overview page.
Edit Base Salary Change Amount And Base Salary Change Percentage In Worksheet
Let worksheet managers edit the Base Salary Change Amount and Base Salary Change Percentage worksheet columns.
Change In Downloaded Workbook Behavior
Use a date selector instead of manually entering dates in the downloaded workbook. A data entry validator tells people that the data they entered isn't the correct type.
Carry Forward Optional Standard Components in Grade Step Progression 
Expand your use of grade step progression when salary is determined by standard components. The new option to carry forward optional components is supported by grade step progression batch processes. Previously you got an error message if your progression grade ladder rate component was optional. If any other component was optional it was dropped during grade step progression processing. Now, if your component is optional with carry forward, it's handled just like a required component.
Allow Progression When a Future Assignment Exists 
Reduce manual effort with the new configuration option for Run Grade Step Progression. You can now configure the process to allow a progression when a future assignment change exists. Previously you received an error message if there was a future-dated assignment.
Allow Progression Without Salary Increase When Proposed Salary is Less Than or Equal to Current Salary 
Reduce manual effort with the new configuration option for the Run Grade Step Progression process. You can now configure the process so that it moves an assignment to the next grade or step, but skips the salary update, if the proposed salary's less than or equal to the current salary.
Allow Proposed Salary Less Than or Equal to Current Salary in Grade Step Progression Processes 
Reduce manual effort with the new configuration option for the grade step progression batch processes. You can now configure the processes so that Run Grade Step Progression and Synchronize Grade Step Rates update the salary with a rate that is less than or equal to the current salary.
Allow for Statement Actions to Be Completed After Viewing Compensation Change Statements 
Let people take action on their Workforce Compensation compensation change statements after viewing.
Total Compensation Statement: Ability to Share Statement Definitions
Automate sharing of statement definitions by using the new Export and Import XML actions. You can export and import statement definitions and share them across environments or with your colleagues.
Total Compensation Statement: Stock History Category
Control separately which stock history columns display in the online versus printable statement.
Total Compensation Statement: Display Title and Salary for Successive Job 
Display the title and salary for a successive job in the statement header.
Market Data: HDL and HSDL for Positions
Automate mapping of survey jobs to internal positions with HCM Data Loader (HDL) and HCM Spreadsheet Data Loader (HSDL).
Compensation Replaced or Removed Features
From time to time, Oracle replaces existing features with new features, or removes existing features.
Replaced features may be put on a path of removal, the features below will let you know what update you will have to have moved to the newer feature. As a best practice, you should move to the newer feature as soon as possible for full support and to stay up with the latest updates that the product offers.
Any feature that is removed, will have an Update in which that feature is no longer available. Please make necessary plans to move off the feature by the Update indicated, as it will no longer be available.
Removal Of Defaulting For Amount Last Updated By Worksheet Columns
Take note that we removed the ability to default the Amount Last Updated by columns.
Discontinued Support for Salary Default From Grade Ladder Rates In HCM Classic Simplified User Interface
Transition to using the HCM responsive page HR actions if you use the feature that defaults the salary from grade ladder rates in HR actions. In an upcoming release, the default salary feature will be removed from the Person Management > Employment page, in the HCM classic simplified page.
Removal Of Dynamic Column Configuration Option From Unsupported Columns
Take note that we removed the ability to configure dynamic columns from several unsupported worksheet columns.
