Overview

HCM Cloud applications have two types of patches you can receive that are documented in this New Feature Summary:

  • Release Updates (22A, 22B, 22C, and 22D)
  • Optional Monthly Maintenance Packs to each update

It is important for you to know what Release Update your environment is on. You can find this in your Cloud Portal.

Mandate the Submission of Documents with Individual Compensation Proposals

Ensure proposers attach relevant documents while submitting individual compensation proposals. The submitted documents are available in the individual's document of records after approval.

Pending Approval Display of Personal Contribution, Individual Compensation, and Administer Compensation on Compensation Spotlight

See an indicator on the compensation spotlight whenever a personal contribution or individual compensation record is pending approval. Depending on your relationship with the submitted transaction, you can view details about the submitted transaction and take action.

View Individual Compensation Input Value Details in Offer Read-Only Pages

View the input values of the individual compensation proposals on read-only offer pages.

Simulate Salary Range

Empower your compensation Managers and HR specialists by showing them how the differential applied salary range values are calculated. This lets them troubleshoot issues, compare grade rate based salary ranges with differential calculated values, and see the various parameters relevant in the calculations. Seeing these calculations lets them do what-if analysis and view potential issues as warnings.

Configure Currency Column Display

Use a new configuration option to display the currency code, currency name, or currency code and name in the currency columns in your plan worksheets.

Configure Country Column Display

Use a new column property configuration option to display the country code, country name, or country code and name in the country column in your plan worksheets.

Copy Dynamic Column Configuration

Simplify your plan configuration activities by copying dynamic column configurations from one Workforce Compensation plan to another, or from one column to another within the same plan.

Prevent Allocations When Budgets Are Null

Use a new configuration option to prevent managers from making allocations or submitting worksheets before a they're issued a budget.

Grade-Step Progression

Enhanced Assignment Selection for Grade Step Progression Batch Processes

Update salaries for all assignments on a grade ladder, even if they're excluded from grade step progression. We added a new configuration option that lets you exclude an assignment from the Run Grade Step Progression process without excluding it from the Synchronize Grade Step Rates process. If configured, the Include in grade step progression assignment attribute will apply to only the Run Grade Step Progression process.

Record Configuration Details in Grade Step Progression Batch Logs

Improve your ability to analyze and troubleshoot grade step progression results. Parameters and configuration details are now recorded in the batch logs.

Grade-Step Progression Replaced or Removed Features

From time to time, Oracle replaces existing features with new features, or removes existing features.

Replaced features may be put on a path of removal, the features below will let you know what update you will have to have moved to the newer feature. As a best practice, you should move to the newer feature as soon as possible for full support and to stay up with the latest updates that the product offers.

Any feature that is removed, will have an Update in which that feature is no longer available. Please make necessary plans to move off the feature by the Update indicated, as it will no longer be available.

Discontinued Support for Salary Default From Grade Ladder Rates In HCM Classic Simplified User Interface

Transition to using the HCM Responsive page HR actions if you use the feature that defaults the salary from grade ladder rates in HR actions. In an upcoming release, the default salary feature will be removed from the classic Person Management > Employment page.
