HCM Cloud applications have two types of patches you can receive that are documented in this New Feature Summary:

Enhanced Ability to Add OTBI Reports in Salary and Individual Compensation Pages
Simplify how you add OTBI reports to salary and individual compensation pages, with the new ability to add reports using parameters.
Guided Journeys for Compensation Flows
Support users by providing guidance such as tutorials, company policies, and best practices, in the context of compensation flows, using guided journey tasks.
Contextual Journeys for Compensation Flows
Configure tasks that need to be performed by different performers before a transaction using Contextual Journeys which now supports quick actions related to the compensation area.
Additional Attributes in Salary Business Object
Use additional attributes, such as Adjustment Amount, Adjustment Percentage, Annual Amount, and Annual Full-time Amount in autocomplete Salary object validation rules.
Reuse Action Occurrence Identifier
Opt to reuse the action occurrence identifier of the assignment when people create or correct salary using standalone actions, such as Change Salary and Salary History, and tools, such as HCM Data Loader. The identifier is reused when the actions and tools find an existing assignment entry with the same start date, action, and reason. The default behavior is to not opt for the reuse and the actions and tools continue to create an action occurrence identifier for standalone salary creation.
Salary Can’t Be Maintained for Inactive Assignments During Change Assignment
Prevent people from creating or updating salary for inactive assignments or assignments that will become inactive, in the Change Assignment action. To continue existing behavior, you can opt out of this enhancement.
Copy Individual Compensation Awards During Mass Legal Employer Change
Copy current and future individual compensation awards from the source legal employer to the destination legal employer during Mass Legal Employer Change. For this copy to happen, the legislative data group of the element linked to the individual compensation plan option has to be same for both legal employers.
Copy Document Records with Individual Compensation Allocations During Global Transfer
Copy attached documents along with current and future individual compensation awards during Local and Global Transfer, Mass Legal Employer Change actions.
Require the Submission of Documents with Individual Compensation Proposals of Pending Worker
Ensure proposers attach relevant documents while submitting individual compensation proposals for pending workers. The pending worker conversion copies the submitted documents to the converted employee or contingent worker assignment.
View Lookup Meaning in Individual Compensation Notifications That Display Input Values 
View the lookup code meaning instead of the code in individual compensation notifications configured to show input values.
Launch Document Records Page from Compensation Spotlight for Individual Compensation Plans Submitted with Attachments
View the document records link and individual compensation details in My Compensation, Compensation Info actions. Also launch the Document Records page to view the attachments.
Update of Information Icon in Worksheet Column Headers
See a new information icon in the worksheet column headers. We updated the icon to a circle i icon instead of the circle ? icon.
Updated Setup Task List for Workforce Compensation
Use the updated setup task list for Workforce Compensation to perform these actions:
- View and access plan setup pages from the Workforce Compensation task list
- Access tasks from the task list name instead of the Go to Task icon
- View some setup data without accessing the setup task
Update Grade Step as Part of a Workforce Compensation Cycle
Use a new column to update a person's grade step as a part of a compensation cycle. You can now also view the person's current grade ladder and grade step as a part of this feature.

Updated Individual Worker Display Configuration Pages
Use the newly updated configuration pages to more easily set up Individual Worker Display.
Person and Assignment Number Columns Added to Grade Step Progression Review Page 
Search for people in grade step progression results using person number or assignment number.
Grade Step Progression Error Processing
Improve your ability to resolve errors. The error messages in grade step progression batch processes and HR actions have been revised to make the reason for the errors more clear.
Grade-Step Progression Replaced or Removed Features
From time to time, Oracle replaces existing features with new features, or removes existing features.
Replaced features may be put on a path of removal, the features below will let you know what update you will have to have moved to the newer feature. As a best practice, you should move to the newer feature as soon as possible for full support and to stay up with the latest updates that the product offers.
Any feature that is removed, will have an Update in which that feature is no longer available. Please make necessary plans to move off the feature by the Update indicated, as it will no longer be available.
Discontinued Support for Salary Default From Grade Ladder Rates on HCM Classic Simplified Pages
Transition to using the HCM responsive page HR actions if you use the feature that defaults the salary from grade ladder rates in HR actions. We removed the default salary feature from the classic Person Management > Employment page.
Market Data: Enhancements for Job and Position in HSDL
Use the new ability to look up jobs and positions in search dialog boxes within the HCM Spreadsheet Data Loader.
Market Data: Configure Market Composites
Use the new Configure Market Composites Display task to control the display of values and labels of market composites on pages.
External Data: Enable Delete in HDL 
Automate your External Data maintenance with the new ability to delete via HCM Data Loader.
