Improve Supply Tracking for Sales Orders in Your Back-to-Back Flows
Oracle Supply Chain Orchestration no longer closes the supply order when the first shipment happens for a partial shipment in a back-to-back flow. The supply order remains open until shipping ships all of the supply or until Oracle Order Management cancels the request. Orchestration will also continue to orchestrate changes in demand and supply as long as the supply order remains open.
Copy Measure Data Between Demand Plans
Move a copy of the data from one demand plan to another by mapping measures in a source demand plan to the same or different measures in the target demand plan.
Search for Measure-Based Exceptions Using Additional Criteria
Search for measure-based exceptions using filters on the planner and item category attributes.
Hover on a Value in a Pivot Table to Display Measure Description
Display the description for a measure by hovering on the value in a planning pivot table to ensure correct understanding of the intent of the measure before making any changes to the plan.
Receive Detailed Responses When You Call the Planning Table Data REST Service
Receive responses that provide details regarding the status and cause of errors for specific data rows that weren't accepted when calling a POST operation using the Planning Table Data REST service.
Improve Performance When Refreshing Measure Data Collected at an Aggregate Level
Reduce the amount of time taken to refresh plan data when you’ve collected measure data at an aggregate level. You can now configure the process that disaggregates measure data to run as multiple parallel processes.
Maintain optimum inventory levels at each node of your supply chain to meet customer service targets at the lowest inventory cost. Use automated processes to maintain inventory policy parameters and improve customer service levels. These automated processes dynamically update the inventory to keep on hand and reduce costs by calculating the economic order quantity for replenishment when appropriate.
After you opt in to the feature named Replenishment Planning, you can use the features described in this section.
Honor Expiration and Hold Dates for On-Hand Lots in Replenishment Planning
Ensure the on-hand lot used to meet demand won't expire before the demand due date. In addition, replenishment planning will respect the hold-date on an on-hand lot and consider it as available supply on or after the hold-date.
Respect Supersession Relationships in Replenishment Plans
When planning for demand for a given revision, ensure that Oracle Replenishment Planning searches for supplies of earlier revision items to use up before recommending new planned orders for the given revision. A supersession relationship may be defined as a unilateral or bilateral chain.
Use User-Defined Forecast Measures as a Demand Schedule in Replenishment Plans
Use predefined and user-defined demand measures and forecast-accuracy measures for computation of inventory policies, statistical safety stock, and generation of planned orders in Oracle Replenishment Planning.
Use Supplier Sites Codes That Are up to 240 Characters
Collect and view supplier site codes that contain up to 240 characters. This new limit is a significant increase from the prior limit.
Receive Detailed Responses When You Call the Planning Table Data REST Service
Receive responses that provide details regarding the status and cause of errors for specific data rows that weren't accepted when calling a POST operation using the Planning Table Data REST service.
