Overview

HCM Cloud applications have two types of patches you can receive that are documented in this New Feature Summary:

  • Release Updates (22A, 22B, 22C, and 22D)
  • Optional Monthly Maintenance Packs to each update

It is important for you to know what Release Update your environment is on. You can find this in your Cloud Portal.

Transactional Business Intelligence for Learning

Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence is a real time, self-service reporting solution offered to all Oracle Cloud application users to create ad hoc reports and analyze them for daily decision-making.  Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence provides human resources managers and specialists, business executives, and line managers the critical workforce information to analyze workforce costs, staffing, compensation, performance management, talent management, succession planning, and employee benefits.

Additional Worker, Job and Location Attributes in Learning Records

Add more Worker, Job, and Location dimensions to learning records analysis reports using the Worker Assignment Real Time subject area.

Microsoft Teams Virtual Classroom Provider

Create and update Microsoft Teams web conferencing events directly in Oracle Fusion Cloud Learning. Instructors (hosts) and learners (attendees) can access this virtual instructor-led training using web conferencing links in offerings.

Intuition Learning Content Provider Integration

Add Intuition learning content to Oracle Fusion Cloud Learning. When you enable this integration, you can import a single course at a time, or load multiple courses. After an import, an automatic process runs in the background to create the content, courses, offerings, and activities in the learning catalog that link to the Intuition content.

OpenSesame Learning Content Provider Integration

Add OpenSesame learning content to Oracle Fusion Cloud Learning. When you enable this integration, you can import a single course at a time, or load multiple courses. After an import, an automatic process runs in the background to create learning content, courses, offerings, and activities that link to the OpenSesame content.

BizLibrary Learning Content Provider Integration

Add BizLibrary learning content to Oracle Fusion Cloud Learning. When you enable this integration, you can import a single course at a time, or load multiple courses. After an import, an automatic process runs in the background to learning create content, courses, offerings, and activities that link to the BizLibrary content.

eLearning Player Version Update

Note that the eLearning player released in Update 21D, as an optional feature, is now the only supported eLearning player. It's enabled by default in this update.

Learning Item Contribution Approvals Support in Transaction Console

Use the Transaction Summary page in the Transaction Console to configure, monitor, and troubleshoot approval transactions for learning item contributions.

Bulk Ingestion to Oracle Search

Propagate learning catalog changes to Oracle Search automatically using the bulk ingestion features of HCM Data Loader.

Deep link to Enrollment Activity Details Page

Use the enhanced deep link to direct a learner to an enrollment activity details page.

Learning Replaced or Removed Features

From time to time, Oracle replaces existing features with new features, or removes existing features.

Replaced features may be put on a path of removal, the features below will let you know what update you will have to have moved to the newer feature. As a best practice, you should move to the newer feature as soon as possible for full support and to stay up with the latest updates that the product offers.

Any feature that is removed, will have an Update in which that feature is no longer available. Please make necessary plans to move off the feature by the Update indicated, as it will no longer be available.

Delivered Dashboards and Reports Removal Notice

Note that the delivered dashboards and reports using Learning Management subject area will be removed in release 22D.

Renamed Attributes in Learning Records Real Time OTBI Subject Area

Note that the attribute names in the Learning Records Real Time was standardized with the Learner Learning Records REST API.

Completion Summary Dimension in Learning Records Subject Area

Note that a new dimension for Completion Summary was added in the Learning Records subject area.
