Create Installed Base Assets Upon Receipt to Expense Destination
Get your operational assets created automatically upon receipt to an expense destination. For example, an asset-tracked item received to an expense destination is automatically created just as it's created when received into inventory. This ensures you have streamlined processing for all your operational asset information.
Use Smart Search to Search for and View Assets in the New Assets UI
Do a smart search for your assets filtering by asset attributes filters in the new Assets UI. You can also view your search results in a new table format.
Create Installed Base Assets Upon Receipt to Work Order Destination
Get your operational assets created upon receipt to a work order destination. For example, an asset-tracked item received to a work order destination is automatically created just as it's created when received into inventory. This ensures you have streamlined processing for all your operational asset information.
Manage Asset Installation Date
Add and update the asset installation date using the Manage Asset UI. Oracle Subscription Management Cloud can now leverage the asset installation date for contract initiation, such as warranties.
Use the Enhanced Maintenance Management and Installed Base Asset OTBI Subject Areas
Use the enhanced Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) subject areas for real-time, self-service reporting directly from Oracle Fusion Cloud Maintenance. The enhanced Maintenance Management subject area includes new attributes for an asset's project and task, country of origin. The Maintenance Management and Installed Base subject areas include new attributes for Asset Notes, Asset Contact, Asset History, and Application Composer fields. The Installed Base subject area also includes a new attribute for the associated Oracle Cloud Subscription Management contract.
Update the item associated with an asset to ensure the accuracy of your asset information.
Capture Customer Purchase Order Number When Ordering Parts and Debriefing
Capture your customer’s purchase order number when ordering parts and debriefing, so that the purchase order number is reflected on the sales order for invoicing.
Support for Nonserialized Assets
You can now create a depot repair work order, as well as part exchange for a nonserialized, asset tracked item. Previously, you could only perform depot repair and part exchange on a serialized asset.
