Maintenance

Maintenance

Map Order Management Flexfields to Installed Base Asset Attributes

Get information for your installed base asset attributes captured from Order Management flexfields.

Use the Enhanced OTBI Subject Areas for Maintenance Management and Installed Base

Use the enhanced Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence subject areas for real time reporting and analytics. The Maintenance Management Resource Usage Real Time, Material Usage Real Time, and the Maintenance Management Forecast Real Time subject areas now have new attributes for both equipment and operator qualifications.

Reactivate an Inactive Work Definition

Reactivate a work definition using REST and FBDI that was previously deactivated. You can reuse the work definition again for work order creation.

Search for Work Order Operations by Resource Instance and Work Order Description in the Maintenance Dispatch List

Search for the work order operations by resource instance or work order description, in addition to other commonly used search attributes.

Failure Analysis View Objects for Oracle Business Intelligent Cloud Connector

Improve maintenance operations continuously by leveraging key performance indicators that cover failure analysis, asset, work, and maintenance performance.

Manage Asset Supplier Warranty

Create and edit warranty coverage templates based on supplier warranty terms and conditions. Coverage templates are used to instantiate individual warranty contracts for your assets. A scheduled process then monitors, updates, and expires the warranty contracts over time.

Qualify Equipment When Assigning Work or Reporting Resource Usage

Validate that an equipment is qualified to perform a manufacturing or maintenance operation. The validation is based on an equipment qualification profile specified for the work definition operation resource. You can enforce this validation when you assign an equipment resource instance to a manufacturing or maintenance work order operation or report a resource usage or operation transaction.

Integrate and Extend Maintenance Using REST Services

Manage Asset Supplier Warranty Using REST API

Manage Asset Supplier Warranty Using REST API". APPROVED SHORT DESCRIPTION: "Use REST services to create and manage supplier warranty for your assets. You can create and edit warranty coverage templates based on the supplier warranty terms and conditions. The coverage templates can then be used to instantiate individual warranty contracts for your assets over time.

Set Up Asset Qualifications Using REST API

Set up the asset qualification details like creation of qualification requirements, qualification profiles, and record asset qualifications using REST API.

Service Logistics

Create Reservations When Sourcing and Ordering Parts

Reservations are automatically created when sourcing and ordering parts in unmanned and field technician stocking locations.

Capture Return-From Customer and Return-From Address for More Flexible and Accurate Return Processing

You can now capture the return-from address when you initiate a return. You can use the return-from information to create Return Material Authorization lines, facilitating tax credit processing in Order Management. You can also leverage the return-from address to find the corresponding return routing rules, which means returns can be more easily routed to the correct destination.

Receive In-Transit Inventory Transfers

You can now create and receive in-transit inventory transfers in the Service Logistics Receive Parts UI.

Use Oracle Integration Cloud for More Flexible Preventive Service

You can now use Oracle Integration Cloud to create preventive maintenance service requests and work orders.  You can leverage Oracle Integration Cloud’s flexibility to add information to service requests and field service work orders, such as information from the initiating maintenance work order’s work definition.
