View Approval History on Innovation Management Objects
View approval history on concepts, proposals, and requirement specifications. You can view details such as the date when the object was submitted for approval, the user who submitted the object for approval, and the date when the object was approved, rejected, or canceled.
Use a new side tab on product proposals to add comments, and to view all comments for a proposal.
Manage Concept Teams Using REST Services
Use REST APIs to add or remove team members for your concepts.
Search and locate the item attributes that you want to review or update on the item page. The search covers single-row extensible flexfield attributes.
Edit UOM in Structure View and Change Order Redline View
Edit the unit of measure value for item components directly in the item structure view. You can also edit this value for structure components in a change order's redline view.
Download Manufacturer Part Attachments
Include manufacturer part attachments when you download items and item structures.
Manage Substitute Components in Design Structures and Engineering Change Orders
Add and update substitutes for item components in your preliminary design structures using the side panel view. You can make changes to released items by redlining substitutes in engineering change orders.

Enter multiple item or document numbers in the quick search field to find what you need with a single click. You can enter comma-separated, tab-separated, or new line separated lists in the search field.
Improve User Experience for Change Management
Experience increased drill-down capability, visibility, and consistency across item and change pages. Drill down to view manufacturer and manufacturer part objects using hyperlinks, see the same column order in item structures and affected objects, and use an expanded description field for change objects. You can also set a default reason code for change objects in the change type setup.

Generate catalog hierarchy reports using an OTBI subject area that's automatically refreshed with catalog setup changes.

Manage Item Batches Using a REST Service
You can now create, update, and search item batches using a REST service. You can also import item data using this REST service, through an item batch that runs on data load.
To improve performance, control the number of records that can be exported to a spreadsheet from the Manage Items page.
Solve Use Cases Efficiently with Replace Function in Rules
Use regular expressions in the replace() function in rules to solve complex use cases.
The publication of structures now includes all of the target items for the common structure of an item.
Optimize rule set performance by selecting an action to regenerate rule scripts after a server restart.
Search for Items More Efficiently
Configure the minimum number of characters that users must enter to search for items. Use the Contains operator to search item names and item descriptions.
Control Role Expansion: New Item Request Approvals
Avoid automatically expanding a role to show its members in the Approval status table if only one response is required on behalf of the role. All members of the role will receive approval notifications, and you can still keep track of who signed off on behalf of the role.

View Context-Specific Attributes in Affected Objects Table
View and edit additional attributes related to your business context directly in the Affected Objects table. New columns for descriptive flexfields now appear in the Affected Objects table for change orders, change requests, problem reports, and corrective actions.
Use Object Hyperlinks to View Related Objects
Drill down to view details of relationships between standard and configured objects. Navigate through object relationships created using Application Composer, including dynamic choice lists.
Display Similar Interface for Quality and Change Objects
Keep the user experience consistent for quality and change objects. The edit page of a quality issue or action now displays the side panel view without infotiles, as in changes.
Manage Security for Quality Issues and Actions Using REST APIs
Add or remove users from the Security tab of quality issues and actions using REST APIs.
Define Sample Quantity and Unit of Measure for Use in Ad Hoc Inspections
Specify the physical sample quantity and unit of measure as part of a sampling-enabled inspection level that is associated with an inspection plan for ad hoc inspection of an item. You can enter the sample quantity in either the item's primary unit of measure or an alternate, convertible unit of measure.
Inspect a Preassigned Lot to a Work Order in Manufacturing
Perform ad hoc work in process inspections against a preassigned lot for a product, co-product, or by-product independent of when it is completed into inventory.
Search and View Product Genealogy with Parent Lot
Search for lots in product genealogy records based on the associated parent lot when the item is child lot enabled. You can view the parent lot in the lot information in addition to the transaction history of inventory transactions, discrete manufacturing work order operation transactions, and process manufacturing work order output transactions.
View Product Genealogy and Assets with Country of Origin or Project and Task Information
View country of origin or project and task for lots and serials in product genealogy, including on-hand inventory and transaction history. You can also view project and task for an asset.
