Access SCM Application Pages Using Quick Actions

In this update, Oracle Supply Chain Management Cloud delivers new quick actions that provide easy navigation from the home page directly to specific application pages without using the menu structure.

Enrich Ideas Before Posting

Add customers and attachments to your idea and mark it as a favorite directly from the Post Idea dialog.

Product Development

Find Multi-Row Flexfields Within Collapsed Attribute Groups

Search for multi-row extended flexfield attributes even within the attribute groups that are displayed in collapsed form.

Improve Controls for Supplier Access to Changes

Provide separate privileges to suppliers for viewing and editing change orders and change requests. Use the View privilege to provide read-only access, and the Manage privilege to allow editing. The task View Changes in the Supplier Portal is replaced with two new tasks, Manage Change Orders and Manage Change Requests.

Improve Data Management of Configured Objects

Leverage the new data management options and performance improvements in Application Composer. You can now delete unused attributes and create record numbers that are common across multiple objects.

Use a Single Dialog to Publish and View Reports

Integrate the view for publishing and viewing your configured reports. You can now publish reports for analysis, view publication status updates, and launch reports from the same dialog.

Adjust the Deviation Factors for Dual UOM Items

You can now update the positive and negative deviation factors associated to an item that has dual units of measure. You can make the deviation factors less restrictive than their previous values but not more restrictive.

Define and Use Dual UOM Items and Substitutes Effectively by Leveraging New Validations

Leverage new validations when creating substitute relationships for your dual UOM items. The validations ensure an accurate substitute is defined.

Use Import Map Smart Spreadsheets for Item Mass Update

You can now use import map smart spreadsheets to perform mass updates of item attributes.

Search Consistently for Items Within Item Relationships

When searching and selecting items to create item relationships, take advantage of automatic suggestions from the keyword index.

Use an LOV REST Service for Items

Use the Items List of Values (LOV) resource to get content for an LOV used to view items.

Filter Your Item Selections for Transactions Using Automatic Suggestions

When searching for and selecting items to add to transactions, take advantage of automatic suggestions from the item keyword index. Item data security can optionally be enforced on item search.

Query Additional Attributes Using the Items List of Values REST Resource

Use the Items List of Values REST resource to query additional item attributes, item category associations, and item relationships.

Grant Granular Privileges to View and Update Changes

Use separate privileges to control who can view and update a change order or change request. For example, you can let users view and edit change requests, but only view change orders.

Display Similar Search Interface for Engineering and Commercialization Changes

Use the same kind of search interface for engineering and commercialization change orders. Manage all your changes in the same way, from searching for affected objects to moving or canceling change lines.

Use Object Hyperlinks to View Related Objects on Changes

Drill down to view details of relationships between standard and configured objects. Navigate through object relationships created using Application Composer, including dynamic choice lists.

Control Actions Performed by Change Requester

Use the new Requester column in the Additional Controls table to define what actions can be performed by the change requester.

Quality Management

Grant Granular Privileges to Manage Problem Reports and Corrective Actions

Use separate privileges to control who can view and update problem reports and corrective actions. For example, you can let users view and edit problem reports, but only view corrective actions.

Perform Inline Inspection with a Sample Quantity and Unit of Measure

Perform inline receiving or work in process inspections using the required sample quantity and unit of measure as guidance for performing the inspection. You can also view the total sample quantity needed to complete inspection.

View Additional Columns in the Lot Dimension and Event Disposition Dimension in Quality Inspections OTBI

Create and update inspection reports with new columns for lot details in the Lot dimension and sample quantity details in the Sample dimension in OTBI. You can also add a new column for the work order operation transaction from the Event Disposition dimension to uniquely identify multiple inspection records performed at the same manufacturing work order operation.
