Product Development & Product Hub Common
Manage Trading Partner Items Efficiently With the Ability to Edit Trading Partner Item Number
Edit the number for the trading partner item. This number refers to customer item number, manufacturer part number, competitor item number, and supplier item number. You can edit the manufacturer part number in the Product Development work area as well.
Enforce Uniform Quantity Related Setting for Reference Designators
Keep the Quantity Related check disabled by default for reference designators across engineering and commercial items. You can now enable or disable this from the structure type setup page.
Accelerate Error Debugging for Changes
Improve error logging to enable quick debugging and resolution of change order errors.
NOTE: This feature was also made available in the January monthly update of 21D.
Separate Lifecycle Phase and Effective Date Changes from Other Changes
Ensure that lifecycle phase and effective date changes to affected objects on a change order are saved separately. This ensures that item rules are not compromised even if there are other concurrent attribute changes.
Improve Item Class Selection Efficiency and Simplify Default Search Criteria
Select an item class from the automatic suggestions that are displayed while searching for an item and use the default saved search without the catalog and category search criteria fields.
View and Edit User Item Type for Engineering Items
View and edit the user item type attribute for engineering items in the Product Development work area and in the simplified change management interface.
Quickly Enter Reference Designators on Change Orders
Enter reference designators inline with the item component directly from the affected objects table on a change order. Use a comma-separated list of values, or a range, or a mix of both, to enter multiple values.
View Item History on the Edit Item Page
View item history on a new History tab on the Edit Item page.
Secure Structures with View Structure Privilege
Secure your item and document structures with additional privileges to control who can view the structure and its subassemblies, or download related attachments.
