Publish Changes Without Contribution Folder Limitation

Upload change publication files directly to Oracle Web Center Content instead of using the Contribution Folders location. Use the Enterprise Scheduler Server web service to submit change publication jobs. The Product Hub Publication job now accepts the change order ID as an additional parameter.

Freeze columns within the item structure table and the change affected objects structure table for easy navigation and better visibility.

Enhance integrations using new business events that are raised when an item and its related entities are deleted. You can subscribe to these events through Oracle Integration Cloud to orchestrate real time integrations with other systems.

Update Additional Category Attributes Using Import Maps and Use Sorted Values in Smart Spreadsheets

Reassign item category assignments and specify the start and end dates in the import maps and smart spreadsheets. The attribute list of values in the smart spreadsheet is sorted. You can also set the start and end dates for the item category assignments using the Supplier Products REST resource.

Identify Opportunities to Optimize Item Rules

Run diagnostic test and identify opportunities to optimize the item rules. The diagnostic report identifies the rules that can cause sub-optimal performance.

Configure reciprocal for superseded type of item relationship.

Employee Vacation and Delegation Rules Report

Use the Employee Vacation and Delegation Rules Report to view the vacation and delegation rules set by your employees in BPM Worklist. Administrators can use this report to review details of the rules defined by employees to delegate or reassign their workflow tasks. To submit the report and see the output, use the Scheduled Processes work area.

Updates to Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence and New Documentation Library

As of 22A, Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) is updated from functionality available in Oracle BI Enterprise Edition 11.1.1.9 to 12c. If your update is from 21D to 22B, this new functionality is part of the update.

There's a new OTBI library, with a new set of OTBI guides for Oracle Cloud Applications. It's recommended that you refer to the library below, and not to the Oracle BI Enterprise Edition and Oracle Analytics Server Middleware libraries on Oracle Help Center.
