Sign for Quality Inspection Management E-Records Using Single Sign-on Through an External Authentication System

Configure Oracle Access Management to use an external authentication system for a seamless single sign-on experience for e-signatures and e-records in Oracle Quality Inspection Management in Oracle Fusion Cloud Manufacturing. You can use your existing login credentials for e-signature using an external authentication system instead of the Oracle WebLogic identity provider.

Improve data governance by monitoring the check in, check out, cancel check out, and download activities on the attachments business object.

Enforce Mandatory Context Descriptive Flexfields for Item Relationships in Import, Web Services, and Product Development

When the context descriptive flexfields are set up as required, these are effectively enforced during import, when using web services, and when managing the approved manufacturer list for items in the Product Development work area.

Item and Change Productivity Improvements

Capture source item information on copied items to improve traceability. Make changes to the primary UOM of an item while the item is in draft status. When you download attachments on engineering changes, you can now choose to include AML attachments.

Worklist: Notifications and Approvals Work Area Includes New Task Filter

In the Worklist: Notifications and Approvals Work Area, a drop-down list has been added to filter tasks by when they were created. This additional filter applies only to the default My Tasks view, showing tasks created in the last seven days by default. The filter's options include 7, 14, or 30 days. Select All to display a complete list of tasks for you and your groups. The filter drop-down is also available in BPM Worklist if the My Tasks view and Me & My Groups filter are selected, which is the default.

Merge Redlines into Existing Change Order During Import

When you import items or structures to a change order, if any of the items are already added as an affected item on the change, the redlines are merged. Additionally, while creating an item and structure during import, you can now add it to a change as an affected item.

Enhance Efficiency of Change Workflows

Add reviewers for the current workflow status when the status is Open, Scheduled, or Completed. Prevent the addition of roles with more than 40 members as approvers when Response Required From is set to All. In the Worklist, you can easily identify whether your approval is required or optional.
