Product Lifecycle Management

Product Development

Create Manufacturer Parts Using Save As

Use the new Save As action on a manufacturer part to create a new part. You can choose to copy over the original part's attachments, descriptive flexfields, and security settings to the new part.

Product Hub

Efficiently Search for Documents Using the Item Object Identifier

Identify different types of item objects such as documents more easily. You can use this identifier to filter the items based on the object type.

Product Development & Product Hub Common

Use Import Tools to Delete Item Structure Data

Use the Delete transaction type in item structure import maps and FBDI templates to delete structure components, substitutes, and reference designators you don't want in the item structure. In import maps, you can use the All Components batch option to dynamically update all structure entities, using the data entered in the import file as the source of truth. Additionally, the change order import process updates the revision of affected items automatically.

Efficiently Manage Multiple Values for Item Attributes

Manage multiple values for a single attribute of an item extensible flexfield by leveraging the attributes' multiselect capability available in multiple pages, including the Edit Items, New Item Request, and Change Order pages.

Product Lifecycle Management Common

Retain Copied Data on Clipboard

When you log out of the application, the clipboard now retains the data you copied so that you can easily reuse it when you log in again. You can use the clipboard functionality to copy data from the Redwood search pages as well.

Use Extensible Flexfields on Changes, Problem Reports, and Corrective Actions

Use extensible flexfields to create attribute groups and attributes that capture relevant data for your business. Extensible flexfields are now supported on change orders, change requests, problem reports, and corrective actions.
