Common Compliance and Regulation
ArcGIS Enterprise Portal Support
Map integration includes support for public web maps from ArcGIS Enterprise Portal.
Parcel Search Through Elastic Search and Faceted Filters
Use open text search criteria to quickly find parcels. Alternatively, you can select the filter icon to display a slide-out panel which contains additional search criteria. The faceted filters can be used to dynamically search parcels by a combination of fields including parcel status, size and valuation, and parcel number.
Intake Form Testing Within Sandbox
Transaction types need to be published only when the intake form is ready for the production environment. Agency administrators can test intake forms that they are creating while they are still in their sandbox. A new intake form status is provided to identify forms that are finished with the testing phase and ready to be published and migrated to the production environment.
Intake Form Designer Enhancements for Field Attributes Panel
The Field Attributes panel contains a new section called Details. The Details section displays information useful for reporting purposes, writing Groovy scripts, and managing lookup types. For example, the Details section shows the name of the business object containing the field, the name of the field at the database level, the data type, and the list ID if the field is associated with a list of values (lookup type).
When filling out an intake form, you can save your work as a draft and return to it later. The save as draft feature enables agency administrators to postpone intake form submission so you can gather additional information and return to the intake form later without losing any previously entered data. This feature is for agency administrators.
Fee Calculations for Time Recording
You can calculate and assess fees based on time recording of agency staff for plan reviews, inspections, and other activities according to the billing rate and cost code assigned to the agency staff.
Fee and Payment Configuration Enhancements
Fee and Payment display and configuration has been enhanced. These enhancements include the removal of fee line items that are calculated to zero dollars ($0), displaying the fee schedule currency codes, and mapping fees to fee schedules.
Custom Global Tables Subject Area
Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence Custom Subject Area supports custom global tables, which allows for reporting and analytics to include Permits and Planning and Zoning custom or agency-configured fields.
Apply and remove lock, hold, and notice conditions to an address object.
Communications Attributes Use Across Resources
Communications offers more flexibility when creating templates by making attributes available across resources. You can insert attributes from a related resource into your communication layout for new generic workflow communication events.
Oracle Intelligent Advisor Enhancements for Registered Users
When an Oracle Intelligent Advisor policy model changes, it can leave orphaned checkpoints which can cause checkpoint data corruption. Administrators can run a process to correct orphaned checkpoints.
Public User Account Creation During Application Intake
Agency staff can create new public user accounts from within the application intake form. Information from the newly created account automatically populates the applicant section of the intake form.
Permit Certificate by Permit Type
The configuration of the Permit Certificate for each Permit Type Report type is unique to the transaction type. This supports different certificates for permit types, code violations types, or business license types.
Time Recording for Plan Review and Inspections
You can now record the agency staff name and time spent performing each plan review and each inspection. This information can be used for reporting and also for fees based on time recording.
Copy Contractor Information to New Permit
When you copy a permit from an existing permit, using the copy functionality, the contractor information can be copied to the new permit.
Automatic Data Download for Oracle Mobile Inspector
For the Oracle Mobile Inspector application, you can set an interval for the application to check for data updates automatically. If an update is detected, the cached data related to your assigned inspections will be updated. By default, the mobile application will check for data updates every 15 minutes.
Conditions of Approval Tracking
Agency staff, such as planners, can configure a repository of standard and plan-specific conditions of approval. Conditions of approval functionality allows for reusing conditions, but also adds the flexibility of editing or inserting custom conditions of approval for a specific planning application.
Planning staff uses the planner worklist to manage their assigned applications and activities. Planners can use the worklist to update activity statuses and due dates, and to track the time since an application was received. Those with appropriate privileges can view and assign unassigned applications.
This feature allows agency staff to track and work through a list of time-sensitive activities. These activities are listed on the planning application along with the due dates during the different phases of the application.
Pre-Application Meetings Using Agency Level Calendar
You can schedule a pre-application meeting without a planner assigned to the pre-application. When the agency level calendar is selected on the meeting configuration page, the agency level calendar is used to schedule the meeting.
Schedule Ad hoc Public Meetings
Agency staff can schedule an ad hoc public meeting outside of the configured hearing settings.
Incident Routing Based On Issue Type
You can route incidents to the code technicians who are assigned to specific issue types or subtypes. Technicians can also reroute an incident by changing its issue type or subtype.
Guest users can report a code enforcement incident anonymously, without registering or signing in first.
Online Access for Responsible Party
Public users can access responsible party services online by registering, searching by a case number, and using an access code provided by the agency. Once their access is approved, they can see the case details, access their notice of violation or citation, or appeal their case before the appeal time period expires.
Applicants and agency staff can process business license renewals. This includes calculating renewal fees and paying them online.
Business applicants can submit updates for an existing business license in the business details of an application. The online process uses a convenient amendment intake form for changes, which then moves through a review by agency staff before acceptance and fee collection.
Tax Related Details for Business Licenses
Tax related details are collected and fees are calculated for one or more units of measure for the current year.
Intake Form Designer Enhancements for Business Licenses
The Intake Form Designer for Business Licenses enables you to use the same intake form design to support all business license activity for a particular license. By setting flexible display options for field groups and group boxes you can control the form elements that appear for a business license origination, amendment, or renewal. At runtime, the intake form filters the elements and displays only those elements applicable to the current business license activity. For example, if the current activity is a renewal, only the elements with the renewal display option selected will appear in the intake form.
