Common Compliance and Regulation

Export and Import Transaction Types and Form Designs

To share transaction types and form designs, such as permits, with other implementations, you can now export the form design and the associated transaction type metadata. The exported definitions are stored in a solution package, which you can then import into another system.

Enhanced Display Control for Intake Form Elements

The number of controlling elements for intake forms has greatly expanded to also include checkbox sets, multi-select lists, radio button sets, drop-down lists, number fields, dates, and date-time fields. You can create complex condition statements based on the values of the controlling fields to hide or display page tabs, field groups, group boxes, and individual custom fields.

Associate Non-APO GIS Objects to Transaction

Enable users to select and associate GIS objects that are not related to property information, to a transaction.

Plan Review Console

Plan coordinators can use a consolidated console to access and manage plan review cycles, plan reviews, and plan reviewers across all permit and planning applications.

Plan Review Assignment Workload

Display the number of plan reviews that each reviewer has across permits and planning applications, to facilitate plan review assignment.

Financial Framework

Enable Separate Accounting for Cash and Check Payments

Enable agency staff to create separate accounting entries for cash and checks when fees are paid using a combination of cash and checks, within a cashier session.

Configurable Handling of Refund for Overpayments

Enable agency staff to refund overpayments accepted during cashier sessions.

System Administration

Related Transactions Hierarchy

The related transactions hierarchy extends our current Related Records functionality to allow hierarchies of related records to be set up. Additionally, it supports primary and sub-relationships in the Related Transactions tab, and supports primary and sub-relationships of permits during intake and submittal.

Ability to Edit an Application

Designated agency staff will have the ability to edit an application after completion or closure.

Address Condition Inheritance

Agency staff can now apply lock, hold, and notify conditions on an address. Each of the staff-applied conditions can be configured to be inheritable. If the Apply Condition to Transactions switch is enabled, the condition is applied to all in-flight transactions associated to the address.

Workflow

Workflow Displayed in Worklist Tab Filter

The standard workflow can be displayed as part of the worklist tab filters. This provides an enhanced user experience, including individual tab filters, secondary tabs displaying My Workflow and Group Workflow, and support for standard actions, such as claiming items and navigating to workflow steps.

Workflow Task Status Displayed on Task List

View the current workflow task and status of that task, while accessing the workflow task list.

Permits

Limit Contractor Selection During Intake to Agency's List

Agencies can limit contractor selection during intake to only contractors that are enabled in the agency-maintained contractor management list.

Contractor Management by Batch Load

Batch load contractor and related trade license information. This allows agencies to maintain contractors available for use in permits and planning and zoning transactions.

Oracle Integration Cloud Data Migration for Permit Related Information

Create Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) integrations to support data migration from legacy systems to Public Sector Compliance and Regulation for application tables that are required for in-flight permits.

Inspections

Create New Inspections in Oracle Inspector

Inspectors can now create new, same-day inspections, cancel inspections, and override business rules such as cut-off times, while working online in the Oracle Inspector mobile application.

Supervisor Calendar Inspector Filter

The supervisor calendar can be filtered by inspector.

Request Inspection Up to 21 Days in Advance

Inspections can be requested up to 21 days in advance.

Scheduling an Inspection After Cut Off Time

Prevent inspection requests after the cut off time on the same day, allowing the inspections to be scheduled for the following day.

Planning and Zoning

Parcel Genealogy

Agency staff can now create parcel genealogy transactions to manage parcel splits, merges, lot line adjustments, and attribute management. Once a parcel genealogy transaction is established, you can view the relationship in the parcel genealogy tab within the parcel reference.

Imported Parcel Reconciliation

Agency staff can now easily reconcile provisional parcels by replacing the temporary parcel identification numbers with new ones. Once reconciled, a cross-reference is established to retain history.

Planner Worklist for Planning and Zoning

Planners can now access workflow tasks, plan review tasks, and inspections that are assigned to them on the Planner Worklist.

Link from Transaction Parcel to Reference Parcel

The parcel attached to a transaction links to its reference parcel, which helps you easily navigate to get more information regarding the parcel.

Generate Reports and Notices for Planning and Zoning

Planners need to generate many notices and reports throughout the entitlement process. This feature allows planners to extract application information and generate and modify notices and reports for the applications they are managing.

Code Enforcement

Appeal Due Date Displayed in Case Details

The appeal due date is now displayed in Case Details, making it easier to know the deadline for appealing the case. The appeal due date is calculated using time rules but is also editable. Additionally, it can be added to a notice of violation or citation when defining the Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher (BIP) report layout.
