Permitting and Licensing Common
Agency and Public User Header Maps
Separate transaction header maps are available for agency staff and public users.
Override Existing Parcel Conditions
The Parcel Condition detail page now displays whether the Allow Updates by Parcel Import switch is enabled on the condition setup page.
You can enable or disable parcel selection when using the map selection tool.
Document Upload Events for Planning Applications
A Business Rules Framework event to upload documents for planning applications is now available.
You can hide the ability to use the map sketch feature.
Option to Remove District Information with APO Import Tool
You can manage the updates that reference district information using the APO import tool. This optional setting identifies the differences between the imported file and existing reference information. It can be automated to ignore, update, or remove existing district information.
Legacy Data Migration for Business Entity Objects
Legacy business entity objects can be imported using Import Management.
Permit or Planning Applications Without Workflow
You can process, issue, and complete a permit or planning application without workflow. This can be done for permits or planning applications that do not require inspections, plan review, and other workflow dependent features.
Improved Usability in Ad Hoc Message and Communication Events pages
Ad hoc message and communication event usability has been improved. The following improvements have been made:
- Separate attributes for address fields (To, cc, bcc, from) and Subject/body fields
- "From Address" is populated with author's email address
- Cursor can be used to trigger the option box with attributes so multiple selections can be inserted into fields
- Attributes are populated with transaction information
- Attributes that are populated in the template are displayed
Trust Account Event for Business Rules Framework
A new Business Rules Framework event, Trust Account Deposit Received, is available when permits and planning and zoning applications are enabled. This lets you configure a business rule to automate your business process after the trust account deposit is made.
Resolve Condition for Business Rules Framework
You can create a business rule to automatically resolve a condition based on the criteria that you have defined.
When staff information is imported from Oracle Human Capital Management or any other external system, the information is imported as read-only. This prevents additional information or edits from being added to the existing information.
Deprecation of LNPFeepaid Accounting Event
The LNPFeepaid accounting event has been deprecated. It cannot be enabled or used in accounting rules.
Deposit Account for Fees and Payments
Deposit account numbers, account names, primary owners, account balance, minimum balances, and account types for deposit accounts are available on the Fees and Payments page.
Deposit Activity from Oracle Financials
You can record and report on deposit activity from ACH wires in Oracle Cash Management. You can fetch data for all accounts or for individual accounts.
Agency staff can assist public users in person, by paying fees for multiple transactions using a single check, cash, credit, debit, PayPal, and offline payments. This includes cashier sessions.
When deposits are made to deposit accounts, workflow is systematically advanced.
Reusable User-Defined Fields for Business Rules Framework Criteria
Reusable user defined fields for Business Rules Framework are available for permitting.
Configure Required Documents for Applications
You can configure the required document categories and subcategories for each permit type. These requirements are displayed to the applicants on the Attachments page during and after intake and submittal.
You can create custom grid column displays and configurations including read-only columns and grids as well as row numbering.
Agency created grids are available for use on all Business License intake types. These include grids labeled as amendable, origination, renewal, adjustment, confidential, and fee estimate.
Agency configured task statuses are displayed in task management and worklists.
Consolidated Inspection Attachments
An Inspection subtab has been added to the Permit Attachment tab. This tab only displays the attachments for inspections.
Result Multiple Inspections Simultaneously
Inspectors can simultaneously select the inspection results from the list of inspections without having to open each inspection. The inspector can also enter comments and attachments from that list.
When agency staff or applicants want to schedule a pending inspection, they can select the inspection from the list of inspections for the permit type and the pending inspection will be used.
Inspectors can claim inspections that have the matching Inspection type and district combination that is granted to them in their Building Inspector Job function.
Mandatory Abatement Appeal Time Rule and Time Policy Setting
A new default setting for time policies is available. Additionally, a new time rule is available for the Mandatory Abatement Appeal status.
When a code case is automatically or manually linked to a reference parcel owner record, the full parcel owner is displayed as read-only. Code officers can verify and manually update the first, middle, and last names of the parcel owners.
Code Incident, Case, and Inspection Navigation Improvements
The ability to navigate between code enforcement objects including a code case, code inspection, and incidents has been improved.
Reopen Incidents from Closed Status
You can reopen an incident from a closed status. Agency staff, with correct privileges, can update the status directly from the Incidents Detail page.
A Ready to Mail worklist tab is available. This displays notices that have been generated and are ready to mail. Additionally, tasks are separated to allow Code Officers and Code Technicians to split the tasks if needed. You can also mark a notice as "Complete" to remove it from your worklist
Default Filters for Code Officers
Code officers can focus on the most relevant workload by filtering on incident and case lists by default using the Code Officer Job Attribute setup.
Code Case Batch Reassignment in Worklist
You can assign multiple cases or reassign multiple cases on the Worklist Unassigned Case tab to quickly manage case assignment across staff members.
Search NAICS by Industry Title
Users may search for NAICS (North American Industry Classification System) codes in the business license intake using the Industry Title or description associated with each code.
Owner Details on Business License Overview Page
An applicant, contact, or agency staff can access the owner's detail information by clicking on the owner box displayed on the Business License Overview page.
You can copy a business license application to use to apply for another business license.
