Permitting and Licensing

Permitting and Licensing Common

Property Parcel Comments

You can add and manage one or more comments on a reference parcel.

Default Visibility for Comments

You can specify the default visibility of new comments under the Manage Comments page.

Intuitive Interface for Public User Related Transactions

Enhancements to the existing interface, allow the public user to link a permit as a primary or subprimary during application intake. Additionally, only transactions that share the same location are initially filtered and displayed for the user. You can optionally expand the search to include other transactions.

Financial Framework

Deposit Account Owner Access to Authorized Users

Deposit account owners can name authorized users and assign account privileges.

Permits and Inspections

Offline Access for Oracle Inspector

Offline access provides a more flexible approach for managing intermittent offline user experience in the Building Inspector app, including the automated download of inspection objects based on your daily assignments and the ability to access all inspection information when connected. Error messages display alerts you when the app is offline and content is not available.

Application Workflow Request Info Option

Agency staff can request more information at different stages of the workflow by configuring the Request Info and Accept Info drop-down lists. Once requested, workflow is paused and resumes when the information is accepted using Accept Info. Option to send an email to interested parties when these options are selected.

Public User Landing Page Inspection Count

The public user landing page displays the count of inspections when the logged in user is a contact on an application. The list of inspections is also displayed where the contact has been granted access to the application.

Plan Review

Document Flattening to Prevent Edits After Finalizing

After a Bluebeam Studio™ Session is finalized, documents are flattened to prevent others from editing those documents.

Limit Assignment of Plan Reviewers

When a Plan Coordinator has limited Plan Reviewer Department Job Attributes on the Plan Coordinator Job Function, that coordinator can only assign reviewers for those departments.

Code Enforcement

System Generated Notice in Oracle Municipal Code Officer

System generated notices are displayed in the Oracle Municipal Code Officer app.

Turn Off Incident Creation

This provides an agency level option to disable the ability to report an incident from Permitting and Licensing. When this is disabled in Permitting and Licensing, you can enable the integration with an external CRM system where the service request in that system triggers a new incident in Permitting and Licensing.

Case Fees Subject Area and Dashboard

The Case Fees subject area provides agencies with analytical information about their Case Fees as well as a real time dashboard.

Reusable Fields for Business Rules Framework

Reusable fields can be used in Code Enforcement Business Rules Framework events.

Business Licensing

Agency options are provided to set access for any and all owners and corporate representatives listed on approved applications. Agency set access options include no access, full access, or view/print only.

Contact Access to Businesses and Business Licenses

An agency can allow applicants and contacts to add or inactivate a contact and set their access to the license, location and entity. Levels of access include full access contact, view or print only contact, or assign a new primary contact. Only an applicant, primary contact, or owner/corporate representative can change the access for primary contacts and owner or corporate representatives. Once access has been identified for a contact type, send add contact communications if agency has configured. Access is provided to a non-registered contact once they register using the email that was listed when they were added to the license.
