Permitting and Licensing Common
You can define custom fields and delivered fields on an intake form as read-only. Additionally, you can define two levels of read-only fields, read-only for the public and read-only for all.
A new dashboard, Time Recording, is available. This includes a summary of assessed or unassessed amounts and duration by agency staff.
Insurance and Job Valuation Validation
Agencies can define insurance and job valuation validation requirements by license classification.
Manage Account and Self-Service Registration Update
Agency staff and registered public users can use the self-service registration to create an account. They can provide a business name and business title when creating the account. The Manage Account page has been updated to allow agency staff and registered public users to modify information including my business name, type, and business title.
Oracle Identity Domains as Identity Provider
You can use Identity Domain Cloud Service (IDCS) as an Identity Provider (IdP) for public users.
Manual Reset of Fee Status When Payment Is Not Processed
When payment gateways provide a response that cannot be interpreted as "Fee Paid" or "Unpaid", agency staff can evaluate the true fee status and reset unpaid fees to a status of "Due".
Bank Transfers in Oracle Fusion Cash Management
You can initiate a bank transfer in Oracle Fusion Cash Management for the physical movement of deposit account funds.
Receipts for Permitting and Licensing fees can be reconciled to the bank statement in Oracle Fusion Cash Management.
Agency staff can optionally apply an overpayment credit to fee payments at checkout.
Payment Application Error Correction
You can reverse any payment applied to fees in error and reapply the payments to the correct fees.
Subledger Accounting by Refund Type
More precise accounting for refunds of overpayments, fee payments, and deposit account balances are now available for subledger accounting.
Communications for Application Cancellation or Withdrawal
A new communication event is available. This is triggered when an application is canceled or withdrawn. This is available for Permits, Planning and Zoning, and Business Licenses.
Transaction Expiration Events for Business Rules Framework
Transaction expiration events have been added for Permits, Planning and Zoning, and Business Licenses in the Business Rules Framework. Based on your business rule criteria, the new expiration events can add fees, apply parcel or transaction conditions, relay messages to Oracle Integration Cloud, resolve conditions, or send communications.
Condition Validation to Prevent Issuance
Condition validation can include actions such as ensuring that all subapplications are issued prior to the primary being issued or that all fees have been paid prior to issuing a business license.
Use Existing UserName When Creating Agency Staff Profiles
When creating agency staff profiles, you can use the existing UserName as it was created in Oracle Human Resources.
Notification of Faulted Processes
Agency administrators and staff can view the faulted workflow process instance through the worklist. This provides visibility of the failed processes with additional details.
Add Primary Application to Subapplication
Agency staff can add a primary application to a subapplication if the subapplication was created without being linked to a primary application. Additionally, you can make a standalone permit a "primary" by linking subapplications, or you can make a standalone application a "subapplication" by linking it to a primary.
During application intake, you can search for related applications that are not yet linked. Then you can link the applications as either a subapplication or as a primary application.
Copy Application Summary Page Links
When you copy an application or subapplication and submit, a list is created of the applications or subapplications that were not created successfully. The list links to the application or subapplication and includes information to assist with completion.
Contextual Help for Application Intake
Agencies can add contextual help to primary or subapplication intake forms.
The agency has the option to display assigned agency staff, such as the assigned planner, to the applicant or the application contacts.
All Applications and All Activities Worklist Tabs
Two new tabs, "All Planning Applications" and "All Assigned Applications", have been added to the planner worklist.
Parcel Selection for Public Notifications
With the public notification feature, once the parcels have been selected using buffer selection, agency can add or remove the parcels selection.
Extend Workflow for Custom Case and Notice Status
This feature provides additional flexibility by extending the advanced workflow functionality to other triggering events including a change in custom status (for example, code case status) and updates to a system or ad hoc notice status.
Inactivate License by Agency Staff
Staff may inactivate a business license from the actions operation on the Business License Transaction List or from the Business License Overview page. When the only license for a location is inactivated, then the location is also inactivated. In similar fashion, when the only license for an entity is inactivated, then the entity is also inactivated. The inactivation modal on the License Standard page provides the agency staff a place to capture the person who requested the inactivation and their reason for the inactivation.
Communication Event for Business License Inactivation
When a license is inactivated, only the current contacts on the last transaction, such as an amendment or renewal, will be contacted.
Fusion Audit Registration for Business License Objects
Business License objects have been registered and can be used in the Fusion Audit Reporting.
Communication Tab for Business Entity Overview
A communication tab has been added to the Business Entity Overview page. This allows agencies to send ad hoc messages to the business.
Intake Form Versioning and Effective Dating for Business Licenses
You can now use the Intake Form Designer to manage multiple effective-dated versions of intake forms for business licenses. This enables you to make changes to form designs to address current and future business needs while maintaining the integrity of historical and in-process transactions.
