Use Resource Instances in Manufacturing and Maintenance
Define resource instances for labor and equipment resources, and assign them to work order operations. You can specify a resource instance while reporting a resource transaction or while reporting a production or maintenance exception.
Display Additional Asset Information
Gain greater insight about your assets by displaying more detailed asset information in a single place. You can have a single view for both enterprise-owned and customer-owned assets. This view provides insight into the hierarchical structure and component structure of an asset, as well as a visual image of the asset. You can also configure the view to display only the asset information that you need. You can use a descriptive flexfield to capture additional information about your asset.
View and Edit Meter Reading Transaction History
View and edit the meter reading transactions. You can disable the latest reading for an asset or add a new reading with your comment.
Manage Maintenance Programs Through Maintenance Interval Optimization
Leverage the algorithmic analysis of maintenance history to optimize the service intervals of the maintenance programs. You can review, approve, and reject the insights on maintenance program performance.
Manage Maintenance Programs Using Asset Meters and Events
Enhance current maintenance programs or create maintenance programs that calculate the preventive maintenance forecast and create work orders. You can define dynamic work requirements that consider calendar patterns, asset meters, and optionally IoT-based conditional events as inputs in the forecasts. Multiple work definitions can be defined for a work requirement to support both cyclical and noncyclical interval maintenance.
Import Work Definitions Through Spreadsheet
Import a high volume of work definitions through a spreadsheet file to support initial data load and update scenarios. You can also correct errors and purge unsuccessful records during the import process in order to resubmit the spreadsheet import.
Enable E-Records and E-Signatures in Deferred Mode for Maintenance Exceptions
Capture deferred electronic signatures for maintenance exceptions and view the signature history in the document repository.
Enhance Maintenance Work Order Material Transaction with a REST Service
Enhance the existing material transaction to support the negative issue and negative return of items in a maintenance work order. You can use the negative issue to remove a child component from the hierarchy of a parent asset in a work order. Additionally, you can use the negative return to install a child component in the hierarchy of a parent asset in a work order.
Manage Maintenance Work Orders Based on IoT Events
Manage the setup, integration, and creation of work orders based on IoT-conditioned events. For IoT-enabled assets, you can link asset event codes to maintenance condition codes, allowing for the automatic creation of maintenance work orders based on related maintenance programs.

Delete a work definition that was created through either a manual or an automatic process. Using the Manage Work Definition page, you can delete all versions of the specific work definition.
Manage Meter Reading Using REST Services
Create and view meter readings for asset meters using REST services. The meter reading history can then be used to calculate and track the daily average of an asset meter.
Manage Meter Templates Using a REST Service
Create, view, and edit asset meter templates using a REST service. You can create templates to support subscription-based billing, utilization, and condition-tracking. Additionally, a meter template can be reused across multiple assets, creating unique associations. After a meter is created for an asset, you can record meter readings through a user interface or a REST service.

Capture Purchase, Registration, Installation, and In-Service Dates for Customer Assets
Capture the purchase, registration, installation, and in-service dates for customer assets.
Capture Information for Upgrades and Replacements of Assets
Capture information for the upgrades and replacements of assets. This ensures any related contracts are updated timely and accurately.
Maintain Calendar-Based Preventive Maintenance Plans
Use maintenance plans to define a maintenance strategy to organize and group the maintenance activities. You can define the required schedule patterns, associate the work definition, and forecast the maintenance work. You can manually generate the preventive maintenance work orders for a single or multiple maintenance plans, or schedule the operation on a regular basis.
Select and Add Components from a Customer Asset Structure
Obtain a hierarchical view of the customer asset structure. You can easily query and select a top-level asset or the asset component which enables you to correctly identify the right asset or asset component for the task at hand.
Create the meters for an asset to support subscription-based billing, utilization, and condition tracking. A meter definition can be reused in multiple assets. You can record the meter readings through a user interface or a web service.
Create Customer Asset Analyses and Reports Using Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence
Create reports to analyze your customer assets and component structures using Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence.
Pick Materials for Work Orders
Pick materials for manufacturing and maintenance work orders to ensure parts are available for execution. Picked materials can either be moved to the work order supply subinventory, or issued directly to the work order.
