Overview

HCM Cloud applications have two types of patches you can receive that are documented in this New Feature Summary:

  • Release Updates (21A, 21B, 21C, and 21D)
  • Optional Monthly Maintenance Packs to each update

It is important for you to know what Release Update your environment is on. You can find this in your Cloud Portal.

Recommended Jobs

Recommend similar jobs based on candidate profile. This feature uses artificial intelligence (AI) and machine-learning algorithms.

Similar Candidates

Find similar candidates based on a specific candidate profile. This feature uses artificial intelligence (AI) and machine-learning algorithms which uses a variety of parameters such as job title and experience. The Similar Candidates feature is available for candidates, prospects, and candidate pool members.

Similar Jobs

Recommend similar jobs based on a specific job requisition. This feature uses artificial intelligence (AI) and machine-learning algorithms.

Time to Hire

Use the Time to Hire feature to get estimates about the time it will take to make a first hire for a job requisition. This feature uses artificial intelligence (AI) and machine-learning algorithms to estimate the time for a first hire, based on previous similar job requisitions.

Agency Hiring

Improved Agency Hiring Security

Control how much candidate data recruiting agents can see. When the administrator enables a specific setting, agents will only view data in the candidate profile Attachments tab. When the setting isn't enabled, agents will view data in the candidate profile Details tab and Attachments tab. 

Internal Candidates Management by Recruiting Agencies

Enable recruiting agencies to add internal candidates to their talent pool if they're not in an exclusivity period. 

Candidate Experience

Automated Country Selection in Apply Flow

Simplify the process for candidates filling out job applications by defaulting the value for country selectors. 

Build More Complex Career Sites

Create more complex career site pages by adding rows to sections and selecting pre-defined column layouts.

Configuration of Miscellaneous Documents Attached by Candidates

Take advantage of additional configuration for miscellaneous documents attached by candidates. You will be able to define what types of attachments are allowed. 

Improved Job Requisition Search Autosuggest

Streamline the job requisition search process for external candidates by exposing keyword and location search suggestions after entering only one character.

Improved Navigation to Multiple Job Applications in Candidate Self Service

Improve the experience of external candidates as they can now more easily navigate through multiple job applications in the Candidate Self Service. 

Increased Support of Job Requisition Flexfields in Career Sites

Expose new types of job requisition flexfields to external candidates in career sites' job details pages and in the search results filter panel.  

Validation of Dates in Apply Flow

Provide better guidance to candidates filling out job applications by enhancing validation messages in date components. 

Candidate Security Enhancements

Use the grade level and business unit as additional security dimensions when searching for candidates. 

Candidates and Candidate Job Applications

Edit Actions in Active Candidate Selection Processes

Edit actions in active candidate selection processes. Changes you make are immediately available in job requisitions and job applications which use that candidate selection process.

Improved Candidate Search

Search for candidates using additional education fields and more granular candidate filters. 

Simplified Person Search and Merge Process

Search for a person is now called Select candidate to merge. You use this action when you search for a candidate and select the candidate to initiate the merge process which starts the pre-merge analysis.

HCM Data Loader

Add Interview Schedules to Job Requisitions Using HCM Data Loader

Add or update an interview schedule in a job requisition that is draft or in the approval phase using HCM Data Loader.

Add Responsibilities and Qualifications to Job Requisitions Using HCM Data Loader

Add responsibilities and qualifications to job requisitions using HCM Data Loader. The following fields are now available: 

  • Internal Responsibilities
  • External Responsibilities
  • Internal Qualifications
  • External Qualifications

Move Job Applications to the HR Phase Using HCM Data Loader

Move job applications to different states in the Offer phase or any phase between the Offer and HR phases using HCM Data Loader.

Update Non-Draft Job Requisitions Using HCM Data Loader

Update fields on job requisitions that aren't in the Draft state using HCM Data Loader.

Update Source Tracking Using HCM Data Loader

Update source tracking information on candidate profiles or candidate job applications using HCM Data Loader.

Job Requisitions

Add Skills to Job Requisitions

Add skills in a separate section of the job requisition. The Skills section is hidden by default but administrators can configure its visibility using Transaction Design Studio.

Link Existing Job Requisition to Pipeline Requisition

Link an existing job requisition to a pipeline requisition. Before this release, you could only create a child requisition within a pipeline requisition.

Prevent Changing Job Field Configuration for Job Requisitions

Prevent changing the configuration of the Job field in job requisitions using Transaction Design Studio. Before this release, you could change the configuration of the field indicating if it's visible or required, which caused display issues of the field.

Refine Best Candidates for a Job Requisition

Refine the list of best candidates for a job requisition based on Location, Years of Experience, Degree, and Last Updated criteria. 

Oracle Digital Assistant

Oracle Digital Assistant - Refer a Candidate Using Internal Candidate Experience Skill

Let employees refer candidates using Candidate Experience Skill within Oracle Digital Assistant.

Index Candidate Attachments Scheduled Process

Use the new indexing scheduled process for candidate attachments.

Search Index Upgrade Enhancements

Take advantage of the efficient reindexing of search entities during the upgrade process. 

Screening Services

New Validation for Missing Assessment Packages

Take advantage of the new validation for missing assessment packages. Packages are validated only when there is a partner without a package or there is no package associated with a candidate selection process configured to have packages.
