In this update, Oracle Supply Chain Management Cloud delivers new quick actions that provide easy navigation from the home page directly to specific application pages without using the menu structure.
Configure Color by Measure to Display in a Graph
Specify the color to be displayed for specific measures in a specific graph.
Stop Forecast Generation on Product Discontinuation Date
Honor the product discontinuation date and stop statistical forecast generation at the discontinuation date.
Maintain optimum inventory levels at each node of your supply chain to meet customer service targets at the lowest inventory cost. Use automated processes to maintain inventory policy parameters and improve customer service levels. These automated processes dynamically update the inventory to keep on hand and reduce costs by calculating the economic order quantity for replenishment when appropriate.
After you opt in to the feature named Replenishment Planning, you can use the features described in this section.
Load Planning Data for a Selected Group of Organizations
Load supply and demand data using file-based data import (FBDI) for a subset of planned organizations when using the Targeted Refresh option.
Use Transit Lead Time in Inventory Policy Computations
Use transit lead times specified in the applicable sourcing rule for both transfer orders and buy orders when computing inventory policy values.
Configure Color by Measure to Display in a Graph
Specify the color to be displayed for specific measures in a specific graph.
Specify Service Levels for Segments for Safety Stock Calculations
Define the service levels for specific segments of your supply chain to drive safety stock calculations. Previously, this control was available at only a plan level or the most granular item-location level.
Load Planning Data for a Selected Group of Organizations
Load supply and demand data using file-based data import (FBDI) for a subset of planned organizations when using the Targeted Refresh option.

Plan and analyze your supply chain using configured attributes specific to your business needs, such as country of origin. Forecast for demand qualified by these attributes. Configure attributes and attribute netting rules in a supply plan so that only qualified supply, based on attributes of inventory, purchase orders, transfer orders, or work order supplies, is used to satisfy demand. Generate planned orders for these attributes at any level of your supply chain.
After you opt in to the feature named Attribute-Based Planning, you can use the features in this section.
Map and Collect Supply Demand Entities with User-Defined Attributes
Map attributes from your business transactions to planning attributes, including descriptive flexfields or extensible flexfields. Supply and demand data collections, such as on-hand, purchase orders, purchase requisitions, work orders, transfer orders, and sales orders, include the attribute information.
Plan supply for your enterprise using a netting rule governing the specific supplies that can be used to satisfy demand with specific attributes. Plans also consider safety stock to hedge against demand volatility.
Include Attributes in Plan Analysis
Use the multidimensional analytical capabilities of supply planning to analyze supply and demand by attributes. Each planning attribute is available as a unique dimension for analysis.
Analyze Plans Using Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence
Use Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) to analyze plan output that includes the configured planning attributes.
Release planned orders and reschedule recommendations for execution with the correct values for configured attributes.
Manage Attribute Values for Supply and Demand Entities Using REST Services
Retrieve supplies and demands with configured attributes from a plan, collected data, or simulation sets. Modify supply and demand attribute values in a plan or a simulation set using REST services.
Project-Driven Supply Chain is an end-to-end, integrated solution across the Oracle Supply Chain Management Cloud and Oracle Project Management Cloud applications. This solution is designed to support various business processes of manufacturing and asset-intensive companies.
You can use the Project-Driven Supply Chain solution to manage your supply chain processes in the context of projects without creating separate organizations for each project. You can also capture supply chain costs as project expenditures.
After you opt in to the feature named Project-Driven Supply Chain, you can use the feature described in this section.
Plan Supply Considering Project Control Levels for External Source Systems
Honor the project control specification at either project or project and task level for an inventory organization specified in an external ERP source system, such as Oracle Enterprise Business System.
Create and run supply plans that consider material and capacity constraints. Focus on meeting demand on time by evaluating all possible alternatives, such as using different sources, substitute components, or alternative work definitions.
After you opt in to the feature named Constraint-Based Planning, you can use the features described in this section.
Synchronize Availability Data for Contract Manufacturers with Constrained Supply
Synchronize on-hand balances, purchase order details, and work order details from external organizations, such as contract manufacturers or suppliers, into Oracle Cloud Supply Planning. With these details multitier supply plans can identify upstream planning issues considering material and capacity constraints. The plan will also proactively mitigate any issues identified by using alternatives, such as offload to substitutes or alternate sources.
Compress Purchasing Lead Times for Orders Within the Lead Time
The constrained supply planning process will compress lead times only if the order is within the purchasing lead time when you are planning with the enforce purchasing lead time item attribute set to No.
Generate feasible factory schedules that maximize shop floor throughput and return on investment in resources and labor. You can calculate, manage, and monitor realistic schedules that the shop floor can execute on, while optimizing the usage of critical resources and meeting customer demand on time as best as possible.
After you opt in to the feature named Production Scheduling, you can use the features described in this section.
Configure Additional Setups for Production Scheduling
Manage resource groups and changeover rules to configure your production scheduling process.
Schedule Considering Process Manufacturing Work Definitions
Schedule process work orders using process work definitions for primary products and for related co-products and by-products.
Reschedule your order backlog by prioritizing orders based on flexible demand priority rules. You can simulate the effect of different rules to find the best combination of scheduled dates and sources based upon the latest supply information, and release the updated orders to order management systems for execution.
After you opt in to the feature named Order Backlog Management, you can use the feature described in this section.
Load Planning Data for a Selected Group of Organizations
Load supply and demand data using file-based data import (FBDI) for a subset of planned organizations when using the Targeted Refresh option.
Prioritize Constrained Products with Higher Prices Based on Exchange Rates
Prioritize constrained supply for product demands that generate the most revenue in your base currency in a sales and operations plan.
Load Planning Data for a Selected Group of Organizations
Load supply and demand data using file-based data import (FBDI) for a subset of planned organizations when using the Targeted Refresh option.
