Incentive Compensation

Use Guardrails for Plan Configuration

Use guardrails in the compensation plan work area that provide warnings to plan administrators if their plan configuration isn't ideal and could potentially cause issues in downstream processes like calculation and plan deployment.

Use Faster Classification

The first half of the classification process which determines the credit category has always been multi-threaded. But now the entire process is multi-threaded, including updating the transaction or credit with the credit category. This means better performance for the classification process and more efficient use of the resources available when there are many records that require updates.

Calculate by Participant Using Web Service

Submit the calculation web service by specific participant or participants in a plan or paygroup. Using this enhanced calculation SOAP service, you can now limit running calculations to only specific participants, just like in the user interface.

Plan Objectives Deprecated

The plan objectives functionality in compensation plans is now deprecated. If you have incentives based on objectives, it's recommended to configure it as a plan component.

Troubleshoot Invalid Expressions

Troubleshoot invalid expressions by easily viewing a log file that displays the error occurring when creating an expression.

Use Faster Credit Rule Import

Use the enhanced credit rule import to import credit rules faster, especially when the volume of qualifying criteria data is high.

Use Faster Deploy Credit Rules

Use the enhanced Deploy Credit Rules process to deploy credit rules faster, especially when the volume of qualifying criteria data is high.

View Progress of Crediting Process

View the progress of the crediting process and estimated time of completion. Get emails at different phases of crediting which mention how many transactions are being processed, how many credits are being created, and the estimated time for completion.

Territory Management

Manage Information Copied from Parent

Allow administrators to manage the behavior when copying parent territory information to new child territories. This controls whether the extensible sales territory and sales territory resource field values are copied or not copied to a new child territory.

Manage Hierarchy Setting for Customer Inclusions

Allow administrators to manage the behavior when adding customer inclusions and exclusions.

Sales Forecasting

View New Deals Data Using Forecasting REST APIs

You can view new deals data using the Forecast Products, Forecast Product Adjustment Period, Forecast Adjustment Periods, and Territory Forecast REST resources.

View Renewal Data Using Forecasting REST APIs

You can use the Forecast Products, Forecast Product Adjustment Period, Forecast Adjustment Periods and Territory Forecast REST resources to view renewal data.
