Overview

HCM Cloud applications have two types of patches you can receive that are documented in this New Feature Summary:

  • Release Updates (22A, 22B, 22C, and 22D)
  • Optional Monthly Maintenance Packs to each update

It is important for you to know what Release Update your environment is on. You can find this in your Cloud Portal.

Profile Management

Oracle Profile Management provides a common foundation for the talent suite of products and other Oracle Cloud applications to retrieve, insert, and update talent profile information. Profile Management also supports the HR specialists, line managers, matrix managers, and employees in performing critical HR talent functions. Managing people and job profiles, career planning functions, managing, and tracking talent data can be also done through Profile Management.

Expose Ability to Add Attachments for Talent Profile Items

Expose the ability to add attachments for individual Talent Profile items as supporting information for Honors, Degrees, and Licenses and Certifications data. You can drag and drop a file or add a link by simply typing or pasting it in.

Autocomplete Rules for Talent Review Meeting Business Object in Talent Management

Enhance user experience by authoring new rules for the Talent Review Meeting business object. You can now create your own rules to validate values entered on the Talent Review template and meeting configuration pages. Here are some examples of what you can do:

  • Validate if a person with a particular role can create a meeting using the selected template.
  • Validate the meeting dates.
  • Validate the meeting name.

  • Validate flex field values.

Career Development

Oracle Career Development provides tools for workers and managers to manage their career interests and development plans. These tools include recommendations on roles based on workers’ qualifications, comparisons to target roles and required development needs for workers. You can establish development goals and manage development progress, by managing the roles of interest for the worker and comprehensive development plan for workers.

You can now manage your near and long-term career development strategies using a development plan. Based on your role permissions, you can create and manage your development goals within your development plan. You can tag goals with Development Intents. Development Intents are tags that allow you to organize and track your goal towards future development.

Restrict Development Goal Library Goals Based on Workforce Structure Definition

Restrict the development goals that workers and managers can select from the development goal library. To do this, you need to enable this feature and specify the legal employer, business unit, and department that the library goal is for. Workers and managers can then view and select only those development goals from the goal library that are relevant to the legal employer, business unit, and department associated with their primary assignment.

Track Progress of Learning Item Associated with a Development Goal

Track employees progress of their learning items associated with their development goal in their Career Development.

Talent Review

Oracle Talent Review is an analytic product enabling your organization to review and evaluate data from the profile, performance, goals, career development, and compensation management solutions.

Talent Review Template Redesign

Simplify the creation of talent review templates by only selecting and including information for the ratings you want to include in your talent review meeting. You no longer need to provide information for all available ratings that you may not want to include in your review meeting.

Succession Management

Oracle Succession Management helps to create succession plans to replace key personnel. Succession plans identify workers who are ready now, or can develop the necessary skills, for jobs and positions that aren't currently vacant, insuring, a smooth transition and help you to manage candidate development.

Add Succession Plan Candidates from a Talent Pool

Quickly add new succession plan candidates by selecting members from a talent pool. HR specialists and managers can select talent pool members from a talent pool and add them to a succession plan.

Add Talent Pool Members from an Analysis

Enhance the quality of your talent pools by using an analysis to add members to a talent pool. Create your own OTBI analysis that includes the criteria you need to find the right workers to add as talent pool members.

Oracle Goal Management enables you to transform business objectives into goals across various organization levels, providing a clear line of sight from managers to employees. Business leaders can communicate high-level initiatives which managers can translate into goals for their employees.

Restricting Performance Goal Library Goals Based on Workforce Structure Definition

Restrict library goals shown in search fields so that users see only the library goals relevant to their business unit, legal entity, and department.

Determine Maximum Goals in a Goal Plan

Limit the number of goals that can be included in a goal plan and ensure that workers can’t add goals beyond the defined maximum.

Manager Sets Goal Weight on Assignment

Indicate the importance of assigned goals, as managers by defining a weight when assigning performance goals.

Convert Performance Goal Approval Data Into HDL File

Recover performance goals data by converting data in the approvals transaction cache to an HCM data loader file.

Performance Management

Oracle Performance Management supports features and functions for measuring and reporting worker performance.

Transfer Multiple Performance Documents By Managers

Managers can quickly transfer multiple performance documents to other managers, rather than one performance document at a time.

Sort Options For Discussion Topics In Check-Ins

Take advantage of the sort options to easily find a discussion topic in a check-in. Choose to sort discussion topics for performance and development goals and general topics.

Simplified Filters To Process Tasks In HR Admin Performance Document Page

 Review changes to which filters must be selected to make performing tasks on the HR Admin Performance Document page a bit simpler:

  • You no longer have to select a current task when moving performance documents back or forward to a different task.
  • You can transfer performance documents without selecting a performance document.
  • You can send an email reminder for an overdue task without selecting a current task or overdue task.

Different Icons For Current and Completed Performance Document Tasks

See which performance documents have current or completed tasks by their different icons. The current performance document task has a new double orange arrow icon, rather than the green arrow icon. See the changes on the employee's Performance spotlight page and the manager's Evaluate Performance page.

Autosave Questionnaires In Performance Documents

Use autosave for performance documents and any questionnaire responses you provide are now included and saved in performance documents.

Sort Performance Goals By Category In Performance Documents

Sort performance goals by category when viewing them in performance documents to have a consistent view with Goal Management pages.
