Oracle Time and Labor is a comprehensive, easy to use, rule-based time recording and management application. The calendar-based time entry interface and fully configurable time card layout easily address simple and complex time recording needs. Rule templates and the real-time rules engine provide an extensible and robust method to validate time entries and automatically apply pay rules, such as overtime calculations. Time and Labor now integrates completely with the following Oracle Cloud Human Capital Management applications: Global Human Resources, Absence Management, Global Payroll, and Project Costing. This integration insures accurate and consistent data for payroll processing and costing as well as project management billing. Oracle Time and Labor is a comprehensive, easy to use, rule-based time recording and management application. Compensatory Absence Plan After Time Card Approval
Take advantage of the improvements made to time card processing when calculating compensatory time earned on a time card. The compensatory time earned on the time card is now added to the compensatory time absence plan balance only after the time card is approved. If you submit a time card with earned compensatory time and a compensatory absence on the same timecard, the absence consumes the compensatory time from previously approved time cards, and not the current time card.
Web Clock Missing In Enhancement
Let individuals optionally add comments to help approvers reviewing submitted missing clock in events.
Time Change for Events Enhancement
Let individuals optionally add comments when requesting time changes for web clock events .
Geolocation Address for Events with Geolocation Coordinates
Generate addresses from geolocation coordinates recorded for time event attributes.
Absences Measured in Days Included on Time Cards
View or report on time cards any absences measured in days, and view the corresponding time total.
Time and Labor and Absence Management Integration Enhancements
View open-ended absences on time cards and edit the open-ended absences after they're end dated. Also manage absences for nonwork days on time cards. And note that now when the absence start or end date changes for an absence that spans time cards, only the time card with the absence date change gets reprocessed.
These pages or flows have been recreated in the Redwood tool set Visual Builder Studio (VBS) to improve your user experience. The pages or flows look and act like Redwood pages or flows, to help create cohesiveness through the application.
Improve the time card management experience with the enhanced Team Time Cards search page redesigned with the Redwood tool set Visual Builder Studio. Here's how time and labor managers and line managers can use this enhanced page:
- Search for time cards using filters, such as the person name or number, the time period, the time card status. They can also search by a person's job, department, or location.

View, edit, print, submit, approve, clear resubmission status, and delete time cards (time and labor managers)

View, edit, print, submit, approve, reject, and delete time cards (line managers)
Improve the time card experience by providing the enhanced time card redesigned using the Redwood tool set Visual Builder Studio. Here are the main features of this enhanced time card:
- View reported times and related time totals.
- View calculated times and related time totals.
- View and add comments at the time card and entry levels.
- Save, save and close, submit, approve, reject, and print time cards based on security grants, time card statuses and setup.
- Select from more actions, such as copy previous time card and clear time card.
- Manage additional attributes at the row level.
- Manage time change requests.
- Use time attributes measured in hours, units, and days.
