Leave Management

Absence Management

Oracle Absence Management is a configurable and flexible global solution that enables organizations to manage absences of their workforce. The framework provides ability to define both complex and diverse absence plans. It integrates with the Oracle Cloud Global Payroll and Time and Labor products and provides dedicated work areas for the roles of Administrator and Employees. Simplified user interface is provided for employees’ absence data entry.

Time and Absences Landing Page Introduction

Increase user satisfaction with the new, combined Time and Absences landing page. Employees can now manage their schedule, time reporting, and absence reporting in one place.

Elective and Year End Disbursements Enhancements

Automate the process of validating and updating elective disbursements at the time of payment. This can include updates to the number of elected units paid out and the payment percentage. Additionally, payment percentages for year-end disbursements can be defined and automatically updated.

Absence Redesigned User Experience

Improved Self-Service Absence Pages

Increase ease of use with significant enhancements to the responsive self-service absence pages. You can now enter absences for a range of dates. The start and end times and duration are automatically derived from the employee’s schedule. In addition, you can now:

  • Override daily durations
  • Enter partial day absences
  • Enter absences for non-working days

View absences that can no longer be edited, using a redesigned read-only absence detail page.

View Absence Type Balance and Projected Balance

Enhance the user experience with the ability to view current balance on the absence entry page when you select an absence type. Additionally, once you enter the absence start and end dates, you can also view the projected balance you are left with as of the absence end date.

Time and Labor Management

Time and Labor

Oracle Time and Labor is a comprehensive, easy to use, rule-based time recording and management application. The calendar-based time entry interface and fully configurable time card layout easily address simple and complex time recording needs. Rule templates and the real-time rules engine provide an extensible and robust method to validate time entries and automatically apply pay rules, such as overtime calculations. Time and Labor now integrates completely with the following Oracle Cloud Human Capital Management applications: Global Human Resources, Absence Management, Global Payroll, and Project Costing. This integration insures accurate and consistent data for payroll processing and costing as well as project management billing.

Time and Absences Landing Page Introduction

Increase user satisfaction with the new, combined Time and Absences landing page. Employees can now manage their schedule, time reporting, and absence reporting in one place.

Generate Time Cards from Time Collection Devices Process Enhancements

Enhance the performance of the process that generates time cards and entries from device events by selecting the new option to run only time device rules as part of the processing.

Unapproved Time Card Transfer Enhancement

Secure the Prepare Unapproved Time Entries for Payroll Transfer process using a new and separate privilege. This privilege lets you control which administrators can use this process.

Time and Labor Redesigned User Experience

Increase user satisfaction with the redesigned pages that now have the same look and feel on desktop and mobile devices. These redesigned pages are both responsive and easy to use on any device, with a modern look and conversational language. Clutter-free pages, with clean lines and just the essential fields, can be personalized to suit.

Time Card Entry Owner and Source Enhancement

Track and show the original source and owner of an entry. You can now configure classic layouts to show the entry source and owner for reported and calculated entries. You can also use the entry source in the rules, to specify whether to keep the original source in calculated entries.

Time Change Requests Introduction

Enable people who use responsive time cards and Web Clock to request time changes from Web Clock. They can change, add, or delete their time or corresponding time attributes. When they submit a change request, the time card is updated immediately without approval.

Change Audit for Redesigned Time Cards Enhancements

Enable the auditing and review of any changes to time card entries and time card statuses. You can specify to start the audit trail from the first manual change to the time card, after the first submission for approval, or after the first approval. You can also configure the audit to prompt workers and managers to select the reason for their changes.

Team Schedule for Manager Self-Service Pages Enhancement

Enable line managers to edit and publish schedules of either their direct reports, the whole organization, or their delegated reports.

HCM Experience Design Studio for Time and Labor Introduction

Configure time cards and team schedules pages to show or hide fields for display by business unit, legal employer and role.

Time Cards for Manager Self-Service Pages Enhancements

Manage fully the time cards for all of your organizations and delegated reports. Among the new functionality, line managers can now see the owner and entry source on responsive time cards as well as expedite to payroll a time card from a prior or current period that needs to be reprocessed. They can also override the default payment method and check printer. Depending on the responsive UI layout configuration, they can see the person number as well as the person name on responsive time card pages.

Recalculation for Retroactive Change Enhancements

Apply automatically correct the layouts, time card period, or both if they changed after time cards were created. Retroactive HR changes may lead to changes in an employee's time processing configuration so the Resubmit Time Cards process was enhanced to apply any relevant layout and time card period changes to the time cards being resubmitted.  Hire, termination, and rehire HR changes, which also result in changes to an employee's time processing configuration, are now included in the Resubmit Time Cards process too.
