HCM Cloud applications have two types of patches you can receive that are documented in this New Feature Summary:

Oracle Absence Management is a configurable and flexible global solution that enables organizations to manage absences of their workforce. The framework provides ability to define both complex and diverse absence plans. It integrates with the Oracle Cloud Global Payroll and Time and Labor products and provides dedicated work areas for the roles of Administrator and Employees. Simplified user interface is provided for employees’ absence data entry.
Improved Final Disbursement Support for Future Terminations
Take advantage of the improved final disbursement calculations when you enter employee terminations with a future effective date. The final disbursement calculation now accurately reflects any changes in plan balances between the day the termination was entered and the actual termination date. Plan balances typically change because of various factors, such as absence entries, discretionary disbursements, accruals, and adjustments.
Self-Service Donations and Disbursements
Use the improved user interface for managers and employees to request cash disbursements and donate leave time. They can also view existing disbursements and donations.
Absence Plan Balance Summary and Details
View all absence plan balance summary and details for managers and employees to see all their accrual, compensatory, and donation plans. Absence plan details include summary balance totals for each transaction type as well as the ability for managers and employees to drill down into each of the plan balances to see what transactions contributed to the balance. Additionally, for both donation and accrual plans, employees can view their absence balances as of a particular date to plan more efficiently.
Compensatory Time Manager Actions
Use the improved manager interface for actions for compensatory time. The manager actions that you've been used to, such as adding a manual adjustment for compensatory time or overriding the expiration date, are now available in the new interface.
View Details of Current and Projected Balance During Absence Entry
Plan more efficiently when entering absences. Managers and employees can now drill down on the absence balance to see the associated plan balances that contribute to the absence type's balance. In addition, they can see details of the projected absence balance that appears when they select absence dates. They can see the details of plan-wise transactions, such as absences and accruals, and how they contribute to the projected balance.
Qualification Plan Details During Absence Entry
View entitlements for employees and managers when they record a qualification absence, such as childbirth or placement.
Display of Additional Absence Details
Use the improved user interface for employees and manager to view and enter additional details when adding or viewing an absence. Additional information such as notification and waiver date information, block leave status, reason, leave agreement information and special conditions are now visible on the absence transaction. You continue to enable these fields using the absence type display options during setup.
Additional Sort and Display Options for Existing Absences
View existing absences for employees and manager. They can now sort on the absence status and absence type or specify a specific date range. The absence status is now color coded for easy identification. For employees with multiple legal employers, the Employer field now appears.
Consistent Number Format for All Balances and Durations
See now that all balance and duration values in the improved user interface now consistently show 3 decimal places to improve alignment and readability. If the number has more than 3 decimals, it’s rounded to 3 decimals. If the number has less than 3 decimals, the missing decimal places are filled with zeroes, for example, 8.500.
Absence Redesigned User Experience
Increase user satisfaction with the redesigned pages that now have the same look and feel on desktop and mobile devices. These redesigned pages are both responsive and easy to use on any device, with a modern look and conversational language. Clutter-free pages, with clean lines and just the essential fields, can be personalized to suit.
Add Person Number Field on All Redesigned Pages
Check out the redesigned pages are clutter free and display only the most frequently used fields. Fields that are not used frequently, like the person number field, are hidden by default. But you can display it using Page Composer.
Oracle Time and Labor is a comprehensive, easy to use, rule-based time recording and management application. The calendar-based time entry interface and fully configurable time card layout easily address simple and complex time recording needs. Rule templates and the real-time rules engine provide an extensible and robust method to validate time entries and automatically apply pay rules, such as overtime calculations. Time and Labor now integrates completely with the following Oracle Cloud Human Capital Management applications: Global Human Resources, Absence Management, Global Payroll, and Project Costing. This integration insures accurate and consistent data for payroll processing and costing as well as project management billing.
Planned and Published Schedules Enhancement
Enable time and labor managers to see schedule update and publishing dates for each employee. The planned schedules show the most recent date that they were updated on. The published schedules show the most recent date that they were published on. Publishing is now handled asynchronously.
Time Transfer Performance Enhancements
Shorten time data transfers with the enhanced payroll transfer process.
Time Card Fields for Grants Management Introduction
Enable employees and managers to enter grant-related information on their time cards. To facilitate grants management, four new time card fields were delivered: Contract Number, Funding Source, Expenditure Organization, and Capitalizable. Grant-related information on the time card also transfers to Project Costing, along with other project time data.
Time REST Services Enhancements
Get and create web clock events using the web clock events REST service. This REST service provides an additional method for clients to interact with Web Clock.
You can also get the configured web clock layout properties using the time layout sets REST service.
Time and Labor Redesigned User Experience
Increase user satisfaction with the redesigned pages that now have the same look and feel on desktop and mobile devices. These redesigned pages are both responsive and easy to use on any device, with a modern look and conversational language. Clutter-free pages, with clean lines and just the essential fields, can be personalized to suit.
Improve time reporting by configuring web clock to use either the device time with an allowed time difference or the server time converted to the employee's time zone.
Time Change Requests Enhancements
Enable employees to request time changes from web clock and responsive time cards as well as with a quick action. Line managers approve change requests with a dedicated approval flow so that the time cards get updated appropriately. Also, line managers have a dedicated page to review and approve the change requests for their employees.
Team Schedule for Manager Self-Service Pages Enhancement
Enable line managers to identify edits done in the planned schedule of either their direct reports, the whole organization, or their delegated reports. Enhance search capabilities by providing more filters such as job or location.
Attestations from Web Clock and Redesigned Time Card Pages Introduction
Enable worker attestations for additional information about their reported time. Ask workers to provide these attestations when reporting time with Web Clock or on their time cards. For example, when a worker clocks out at the end of their work day after working 5 consecutive hours, ask if they took their meal break. You could also ask if a worker had approval from their manager to work on a day they weren't scheduled to work.
View Time Cards for Redesigned Time Cards Pages Enhancements
Provide managers with responsive view-only access to the time cards for their direct reports.
