Oracle Benefits is a complete, configurable and flexible global solution that enables organizations to successfully evolve and adapt to the unique needs of their workforce. The solution enables setup of traditional 'one-size fits all' plans to highly complex plans that selectively target different workforce segments with different benefit packages. Self-service capabilities present the user with an out of the box intuitive guided enrollment process with contextual information and embedded analytics.
Benefits Service Center Improvements
Increase user satisfaction by taking advantage of the additional improvements made to the Benefits Service Center.
Participant's person type information is now available, such as Participant, Employee, Ex Worker, Dependent and Beneficiary. This additional information enables the administrator and other benefits professionals to address eligibility-related and other questions from participants more easily.
We have now also delivered the Enrollment Kit report in the Responsive user interface that was previously available only in Classic. The Enrollment Kit report is useful for those participants in your enterprise that don’t have access to Self-Service Benefits to make their benefit elections. The report provides administrators with the participant’s enrollment options along with their eligible dependent and beneficiary details. You can let participants have the report so that they can make their benefits selections manually. Once they’ve completed the report, they can return it to benefits department for your benefits administrators and professionals to enter the selections for them.
Administrators have always been able to override beneficiary percentage amounts for previously closed life events where incorrect by requesting and running a script, but now you can use a new section on the Override Enrollment page to correct the amounts instead.
Alert to Remind Participants of Pending Actions
Make use of the previously delivered alert to remind participants of pending actions. The email notification also provides a link to the Pending Actions page on the self-service landing pad from where the participant can view and complete their pending actions, such as uploading a document.
More Flexibility in Extract Reporting
Make use of the new DBI Groups and DBIs that provide you with more flexibility in extract reporting. We now support DBI's for most common fields in Benefits through HCM Extract. You can filter the data in the reports, for example, you can filter the data so that only updates over the last three or six months is included. Alternatively, you can export historical enrollments up to 24 months.
We’ve also delivered WHO columns from the 20 Benefits transaction tables to the same 15 existing user entities to which the new DBIs have been added, and we’ve added an additional seven new user entities.
You can now build your own carrier-defined extracts more easily with more fields now being available.
