Oracle Taleo Performance Management Cloud
Oracle Taleo Performance Management Cloud drives talent alignment, retention, engagement, and advancement within the modern enterprise. The cloud solution enables talent profiling, peer feedback, goal and development planning, performance reviews, and succession planning.
Oracle continues its ongoing investments around intuitive user experience for employees, managers, and HR administrators. This includes development of core areas such as modern interfaces with multi-device support, actionable business insights and reporting, and alignment of business processes.
In 15B, a number of enhancements center on reporting and business insight.
Expose close to 900 reportable fields from legacy BusinessObjects universe that were absent in Native Reporting, bringing full alignment between legacy reporting and modern Native Reporting for performance management entities. Publish on My Oracle Support (MOS) a companion Performance Management Data Dictionary highlighting the new reportable fields.
New Reporting Fields in Recruiting and Performance Management Subject Areas
Enhance the Recruiting and Performance Management subject areas with more than 250 new reporting fields each. New succession plan UDFs for Performance Management and various new fields for Recruiting were added to have a better alignment with the legacy subject areas.
Enhance report offerings via new standalone Base Data Model and joinable data models in the Native Reporting module. Support new base data models and datasets that are review or goal-centric, driven by a large employee footprint necessitating output restriction lifted from 5,000 to 65,000. Support new joinable data model for employee feedback used in supported entities and contexts.
List of new data models and datasets:
- Review Measurement Data Model
- Employee Measurement, Employee Review, Manager Review, Review Cycle, Review Request, Review Request Group, Review Workflow
- Goal Measurement Data Model
- Aligned Business Goal, Business Period, Competency Goal, Employee Goal, Goal Plan
- Feedback Data Model
- Feedback, Feedback Recipient, Feedback Request, Feedback Request Context, Feedback Request Recipient
- Talent Profile Measurement Data Model
- Standalone Base Data Model, the Talent Profile Measurement Data Model
- The Talent Profile Measurement Data Model gives report users the ability to obtain aggregate level information on their employee base using the fields provided under this new measurement data model
Optional Selection of User-Defined Fields
Enable the selective inclusion of UDFs in custom data models, which improves run-time performance of Native Reporting execution and reduces the size of extracted XML data, especially for entities with large number of UDFs such as Employee.
Restrict Access to Report XML Data
Eliminate the risk of unauthorized users from accessing employee data via reports.
The permission Access Report Data controls who can view XML data generated by reports. This prevents unauthorized users from accessing data, especially employee data, from the entire data model.
In 15B, a number of enhancements center on user experience for talent pool, talent profile, and review workflow.
Improved Talent Pool Management
Simplify management of talent pools with better navigation, view, search, filter, and sort capabilities. Enable bulk movement of employee populations across talent pools and succession plans. Enable bulk operation on some vs. all employees who are members of a talent pool.
Harmonized Talent Profile Labels
Standardize the stacked vs. side-by-side display of field names and their matching values within a custom section or subsection. Improve talent profile readability and look and feel.
Task Owner in Review Workflow Steps
Display employee names with pending review actions (e.g. write or approve review). Enable full visibility and accountability across the organization, while ensuring completion of performance reviews.
