Oracle Taleo Learn Cloud is a comprehensive solution for delivering, tracking, managing, and reporting on all types of formal and informal learning. Users have easy access to learning through a single platform for online, classroom, virtual, and on-the-job training, as well as assessments, blended learning, social learning and self-reported training. Organizations can design a truly tailored user experience with complete control over all aspects of the user interface.
A new Bulk Loader for External Training is designed to ease the administrators’ work in creating and managing External Training data. Using this loader, administrators can create new or update existing External Training in bulk. This single loader can not only manage the External Training items, but to also be used for adding and updating user External Training completions. As with other Bulk Loaders, administrators can create schedules to automatically load External Trainings from a file on their SFTP site. This feature includes the following:
- New External Training Bulk Loader
- Ability to create and update External Training
- Ability to create or update user External Training Completions
BI Reports Scheduler Enhancements
Delivering on a Customer Cloud Connect Idea Lab post, the BI Reporting Scheduler has been enhanced to provide greater flexibility on the frequency and timing of when a report can be scheduled to execute. The enhancements include the ability to schedule a report to run as frequent as hourly delta reports. A delta report is a report that only contains data for which the status or content has changed since the generation of the previous report. The delta report capability has been extended to existing daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly schedules as well. Prior to this release, there was no ability to schedule reports to be executed at a specific time. Additional enhancements have been included to allow reports to be scheduled to enter the execution queue at a defined time. This feature includes the following:
- Ability to Schedule a report as frequent as hourly.
- Delta reports that include only data changed since the last report execution.
- Delta reports to support data extract requirements.
- Schedule reports at a specified time.
- View History page updates including start time, end time and execution time of the reports.
Document Course – Document Download Enhancements
The Document Course feature has been enhanced to allow users to download the original document that the course was created from. Administrators can configure document courses to display a new download icon that will display when a user meets the completion criteria of the course, allowing the course to be downloaded. The configuration can be set at the LearnCenter level to be inherited by all document courses, or configured for each individual document course. Additionally, the Course Manager Bulk Loader includes this new setting. This feature includes the following:
- User ability to download the original source document.
- Ability to configure the document download at the LearnCenter level for all document courses.
- Configure the document download at the course properties level for each individual course.
- Administrator flexibility to configure all document courses or specific document courses to allow for source document downloads.
- Course Manager Bulk Loader update for the document download setting.
