This guide outlines the information you need to know about new or improved functionality in this update, and describes any tasks you might need to perform for the update. Each section includes a brief description of the feature, the steps you need to take to enable or begin using the feature, any tips or considerations that you should keep in mind, and the resources available to help you.
Column Definitions:
Report = New or modified, Oracle-delivered, ready to run reports.
UI or Process-Based: Small Scale = These UI or process-based features are typically comprised of minor field, validation, or program changes. Therefore, the potential impact to users is minimal.
UI or Process-Based: Larger Scale* = These UI or process-based features have more complex designs. Therefore, the potential impact to users is higher.
Features Delivered Disabled = Action is needed BEFORE these features can be used by END USERS. These features are delivered disabled and you choose if and when to enable them. For example, a) new or expanded BI subject areas need to first be incorporated into reports, b) Integration is required to utilize new web services, or c) features must be assigned to user roles before they can be accessed.

Data Visualization Upgraded to Oracle Analytics Server
Upgrading to Oracle Analytics Server provides enhanced visualization capabilities when viewing insights and data from Oracle Utilities Analytics Insights. When you view data sets in Data Visualization, you see recommendations of other data that may be relevant from publicly available data sets. You can leverage machine learning to recommend chart and graph styles based on the viewed data. You can also use Data Visualization to add multiple layers of information over geographic views and then compare several dimensions of assets on the network.
The Oracle Analytics Server upgrade adds automated and machine learning-powered chart and graph recommendations. It also enhances your ability to visualize multiple layers of map information.
Steps to Enable
You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.
You can customize the metric panel order and save the geographic view as the default for a Point Type.
You can customize the order by which metric panels display information like energy consumption over time, meter events, and meter location on a geographic view.

Customizable Transformer Load Management Panels
You can now customize the color schemes of the Transformer Consumption Graph, Transformer Overload Panel, and Transformer Heat Map.
Configurable Transformer Load Management panels enable you to apply your organization's branding on graphs, maps, and panels.

Contact your Service Delivery Manager to initiate configuration of this feature.
Performance improvements enhance the responsiveness of the Oracle Utilities Analytics Insights screen when loading long-duration AMI data or transformer consumption data with large numbers of meter data.
Operational improvements increase productivity and help you better understand AMI and consumption data.
