Feature Summary

Column Definitions:

Report = New or modified, Oracle-delivered, ready to run reports.

UI or Process-Based: Small Scale = These UI or process-based features are typically comprised of minor field, validation, or program changes. Therefore, the potential impact to users is minimal.

UI or Process-Based: Larger Scale* = These UI or process-based features have more complex designs. Therefore, the potential impact to users is higher.

Features Delivered Disabled = Action is needed BEFORE these features can be used by END USERS. These features are delivered disabled and you choose if and when to enable them. For example, a) new or expanded BI subject areas need to first be incorporated into reports, b) Integration is required to utilize new web services, or c) features must be assigned to user roles before they can be accessed.

Ready for Use by End Users
(Feature Delivered Enabled)

Reports plus Small Scale UI or Process-Based new features will have minimal user impact after an update. Therefore, customer acceptance testing should focus on the Larger Scale UI or Process-Based* new features.

Customer Must Take Action before Use by End Users
(Feature Delivered Disabled)

Not disruptive as action is required to make these features ready to use. As you selectively choose to leverage, you set your test and roll out timing.

Neighbor Meter Metric Panel

The Neighbor Metric panel shows a meter's activity within a meter group that is fed by the same transformer, allowing you to quickly compare the events on a single meter with other meters on the transformer. You can configure the panel for any Analytics Insights time basis or unit of measure.

This allows you to compare meters on a transformer to pinpoint issues and identify distribution system events.

Steps to Enable

You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.

Personal Panel Configuration

The Save Personal Panel Configuration button allows you to store custom panel order, time basis, and unit of measure configurations for all the open panels on the Analytics Insights explorer page.

This provides you with quick access to commonly used panels in a module and role.

Steps to Enable

You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.

Work Order Creation from Data Visualization

You can create a work order for a meter or premise from the data visualization, removing the need to switch applications, search for a meter ID, and then create the work order. You simply right click the meter, select the Create Work Order from the context menu, and move to your next lead. In addition, Analytics Insights pushes the work orders to a secure file share in an agreed format and cadence.

This makes it easier to create the work order because you no longer need to switch applications and locate the meter ID to create the work order.

Steps to Enable

You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.
