Functional Enhancements

Unification of Oracle Warehouse Workforce Management Cloud and Oracle Warehouse Management Enterprise Cloud

Now you can access Oracle WMS Enterprise Cloud and Oracle Warehouse Workforce Management Cloud from a single user login on both the browser-based and mobile RF-based screens.

Warning Message for Serial Numbers in RF Receiving

Inbound Shipments specify the details of expected receipts.  For items that are serial controlled, the serial numbers and the LPNs that they are packed into can be included in the Inbound Shipment. When receiving cartonized shipments that include serialized items, more validations have been added to warn or disallow receiving serial numbers not present in the Inbound Shipment details.

Integration Enhancements

WMS Cloud to SCM Cloud Integration Configurator

The WMS Cloud to SCM Cloud Integration Configurator simplifies the process of setting up and maintaining the pre-seeded WMS Cloud Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)-based integrations to Oracle SCM Cloud.

New Action Code DTLUPDATE for Purchase Order, Inbound Shipment, and Order Interfaces

Now you can update the line level details of purchase orders, inbound shipment, and orders through both the Input Interface and the Oracle WMS Cloud screens without having to re-specify the order header information.  These recent enhancements have been leveraged in the Oracle Retail Merchandise Operations Management Cloud integrations to Oracle WMS Cloud.  Please see the Oracle Retail and Oracle WMS Cloud Implementation Guide for additional details.

Point of Sale Interface Enhancements

The Point of Sale Interface has been enhanced to improve the reprocessing of records that may have failed due to the order in which they were processed.

REST APIs

Available Yard Location REST API

Use the Locate to Yard REST API to get the first yard slot with available capacity.  Upcoming IoT Fleet Monitoring enhancements plan to leverage this REST API to help automate intelligent check-in of vehicles to the yard of your Oracle WMS Cloud facilities.

Ship Load Using a REST API

Use a REST API available to Ship outbound loads.

Manage Item Image Using a REST API

Use a REST API to upload and update the image for an item.  The new Oracle WMS Cloud Mobile App uses these item images.

Pick Confirm Using a REST API

Several REST APIs are now available and used for the new Oracle WMS Cloud Mobile App including the GET Group Menu, GET Module Instance, and GET Module Entity.  These are used to add read access to these entities in order to display content in the new mobile app.

Get Next Task Operation Using a REST API

Use a REST API available to get the next warehouse task operation.

Sort LPN to Pallet Using a REST API

Use a REST API available to sort an LPN to a pallet during an inbound sorting process.

Sort LPN and Close Pallet Using a REST API

Use a REST API available to group LPNs to pallets in sort locations and close the pallet at the end of the inbound sorting process.

Replenish to Active Using a REST API

Use a REST API available to complete an open replenishment task for an active location.

User Experience and Usability Enhancements

Oracle WMS Cloud Mobile App

Built in Oracle Visual Builder, the Oracle WMS Cloud Mobile app features modern, graphical, mobile screens that can scan barcodes and display images on both iOS and Android-based devices.  This update includes an initial, limited set of pre-seeded mobile UI transactions and features.  Available transactions include Item Inquiry, LPN Inquiry, Create LPN, Receive LPN, and Ship Outbound LPN.  Coming soon to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

New Filter Option in Item Barcode UI

Additional new filter options are now available in the Item Barcode UI including Item Code.

View Consolidated Inventory in New Item Inventory by LPN UI

The new Item Inventory by LPN UI provides a consolidated view of all inventory contained within both Inbound LPNs and Outbound LPNs.
