Functional Enhancements

Redesigned Web Reports

A new module Web Report Gen 2 is now available with more flexible categories that are more closely aligned to the Oracle WMS Cloud data model and conducive for joins.  The legacy Web Report Gen 1 will continue to be available for another 12 months.

User Experience and Usability Enhancements

User Directed Multiple LPN Putaway Enhancements

While performing user-directed putaway, you can now scan multiple LPNs at a time and locate them to a particular location. This helps in reducing overall required effort and increases efficiency in floor productivity.

View and Resolve Serial Number Discrepancies from Serial Number Discrepancy View UI

A new Serial Number Discrepancy View UI is now available from the Serial Number Repository View UI.  The Serial Number Discrepancy View displays serial discrepancy records from Inbound LPNs, Outbound LPNs, and Active Inventory.  From this screen, users can create a detailed cycle count task for the location to resolve the serial number discrepancy.

Extra Item Property Display Parameter in RF Pick IBLPN and RF Distribute LPN

In addition to the NC Active Picking RF screen, now the following RF screens also support displaying additional item properties (e.g. item code, item alternate code, description):

  • Pick IBLPN for Consolidate and Replenishment
  • Distribute Replenishment
  • Pick IBLPN
  • Distribute OBLPN.

Wave Template Search Selection by Item’s Pack or Case Quantity

The Wave Template Search UI now supports searching or order details whose item quantity is greater than or equal to the item’s standard pack or standard case quantity.  This allows for improved performance of identifying order details for full LPN picking.

Integration Enhancements

Manage Appointments Using a REST API

Using the Appointments REST API, you can now update Oracle WMS Cloud Appointments to indicate the new preferred dock, planned start time, time of arrival, appointment duration, estimated units, and carrier information.  Oracle IoT Fleet Monitoring leverages this REST API to help automate intelligent check-in of vehicles to Oracle WMS Cloud dock doors.

Delink Serial Numbers Using a REST API

The Delink Serial Numbers API allows you to delink a list of serial numbers from existing inventory in order for the system to write appropriate serial number records.

Expansion of Customer Purchase Order Number Field on Order

The Customer Purchase Order Number field on the Oracle WMS Cloud Order Header has been expanded to 50 characters to improve Oracle WMS Cloud integration to Oracle SCM Cloud.

Get Next Pick Using a REST API

The Get Next Pick REST API allows you to pick inventory based on the location pick sequence during picking.
