Prompt Users Before Overriding Inventory Attributes During Receiving
In order to warn users (for both non-cartonised or cartonised received items) when inventory attributes mentioned in ASN details are overridden, a new warning message has been added in the RF Receive by Shipment and RF Receive by Load transactions. Optionally, making the message a hard error will prevent users from introducing inventory errors into the system.
LPN Status Display Corrections in Inbound Shipment Inquiry When LPN Number is Reused
Previously, when an LPN number was reused in Oracle WMS Cloud, the system displayed LPN status associated with the original shipment in the Inbound Shipment UI. The system has been enhanced so that now in the Inbound Shipment Detail UI, the LPN status displayed will reflect the latest LPN status associated with the shipment.
Reload Literals in WEB UI When Company is Changed
In 3PL scenarios, child companies can have different literals that are not visible if a user's company is the parent company. A new flag "Reload literals when changing company" is now available in Oracle WMS Cloud in the Company UI. When this flag is enabled, literals from the user’s current company will display.
User Experience and Usability Enhancements
Additional Filter Criteria in Waving
To improve operational efficiency during waving, additional filter criteria are now available in the Manual Wave UI (Run Allocation module). Additionally, the “Task/Can Change to Hold" permission in the Tasks UI is extended to include a release task and is renamed to "Can Hold/Release Task."
Send Serial Numbers Support in Composite Create LPN API
Previously, the composite create action for the IBLPN entity did not support sending serial numbers for serial tracked items. Now, Oracle WMS Cloud is expanding support for sending serial number information in the IBLPN Composite Create API.
Initiate a Wave Using a REST API
The new Run Manual API allows you to invoke a manual wave. This API can allow PaaS Solutions or external systems using digital assistant to invoke waves.
Introduction of Task Number and Wave Group Run Number in Wave Pick Info Output Interface
The Wave Pick Info Output Interface is enhanced to include Task Number and Wave Group Run Number fields. This will help users to communicate information with external or MHE systems to manage tasks properly. Using the wave group run number, other systems can release tasks incrementally for streamlining of picking activities.
Populate Ship to Details in Wave Pick Information for Customer Orders
In order to streamline processing and provide better visibility, Ship To information will now be populated in the payload for Wave Pick Info for MHE Systems and customer orders. MHE systems consuming this information through Wave Pick Info can also print this information for customer orders (Non Facility Orders).
Approve/Reject Quality Checked Inbound LPNs Using a REST API
The Quality Check Approve/Reject API's allow you to accept or reject QC marked containers without accessing the UI or RF QC Complete module in Oracle WMS Cloud. These APIs allow users who want to use external QC modules (for example, pharmaceuticals or laboratories), to define their own verification methods.
Manage Task Status, User Assignment, and Task Priority Using a REST API
External systems may require you to change the task priority on one or more tasks based on the urgency of other tasks that need to be executed. Additionally, you may need to assign a task to specific users with the necessary permission to execute that task. Oracle WMS Cloud now offers an API to change the task status, priority, or assignment based on operational needs.
